I now have all new tires, new torque converter, new driveshaft and the latest TSB. The truck still vibrates the same. Ford knows it is an issue which is good, but they believe they can still fix it. I am beginning to think it is either a bad design or some bad transmission out there. I have been with our my truck 3 out of the 6 months I have owned it.
I have a similiar situation on my 2021 FX4 rcsb. I have a sort of drone or rotational type light vibration that starts at 40 amd continues until around 60 mph. I just had it serviced and had it checked. They said all they heard was tire noise. I did remove blocks from underneath leaf springs. I 'm going to put pinion shims to correct the angle and see if that helps. I had a202 FX4 that i removed blocks and had no issue. If you come up wit a solution ,please let me know . Thanks

Did they put on the same brand and size tires as you had previously?

The tire noise is there, but this is definitely different, Ford sent an engineer to look at it. He definitely knew of the issue and agreed my truck had it. It is the same speed range as yours. Please let me know if the shims help. Thank you

2021 F150 XLT FX4 with 30k miles having somewhat of the same issue. I do have a 2.5” leveling kit and 275/65R20 toyo AT3 with less than 5k miles. At 70-80 mph, especially on gradual inclines and slight curves on the highway, the truck has a vibration in the steering wheel. Almost like a really fast shudder. I have taken it in to get to get balanced and have had the same result. Took it in today out of pure frustration and they told me it’s possibly a drivetrain issue. Guess it could be a drive shaft or a mount that’s come loose. Idk.

Hello, Fisher! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this vibration concern. Thanks!

Not sure of the engines you all have, but when I test drove all the different engines the PB didn't seem smooth transitioning from electric to gas modes and it annoyed me right away. The 3.5EB seemed to vibrate and just wasn't "smooth" at highway speeds (loved the power though). The V8 was smooth all the way around and seemed like the best drive of them all...so I ordered a V8! :ROFLMAO:

As a PowerBoost owner with about 3,200 miles on my truck, I will say that I frequently wish I'd gone with the 5.0 for this reason. Aside from the annoying vibration/transmission shudder while accelerating on the highway, the PowerBoost (or mine, anyway) just feels kind of sloppy in general.

Sorry you are dealing with that. The technology behind the PB is fascinating and it was tempting to just put up with it for the benefits the engine offers.

It’s so annoying. My older f150 was smooth as could be. All I’ve ever had is the 5.0 engine. It’s great but I dread getting on the interstate due to the vibration. Hope you can get yours fixed and let me know what it was!

I'm having this issue now too 501A Lariat 2022 SCREW, the PSI in each of my tires is roughly 40. I have the 18” Sport wheels with the GoodYear Wranglers Territory ATs. Any time I get close to 70+ MPH I get crazy wobble in the steering wheel. Took it to a service center here and was told by the service manager that it from sitting on the lot during production and I would have the take it 2-hours away in PA for serving if they couldn’t fix it with a re-balance/alignment and that if I needed new tires I would have to pay out of pocket on tires with 2,300 miles on them and the ESP plan. I thought all service centers were under obligation to fix these issues not that I would have not have to go to the original purchase dealer. Either way of-course service center couldn’t replicate the issue and just did an alignment and once I got on the highway to head back home what a surprise its still wobbling just like before. Its crazy that service centers wont help you on a 60k truck crazy and purchasing the ESP also.
