2022 F-150 XLT FX4 3.5 shook and vibrated violently at highway speed. Shaking subsided but now ride quality is junk. Truck shakes and vibrates slightly at all speeds now. Feel it in steering, pedal, seat, center console. Truck also seems to pull left a bit. 2900 miles on it. Taking to dealer after finally getting them to get me a service loaner. Very disappointed with Ford. Only 1/5 local dealers seem willing to help. Glad I’m not the only one with issues but this is a joke. Brand new truck rides like krap.

Hi there! Can you send us a PM with your VIN and Ford dealership information? I’d be happy to look into this F-150 vibration concern on my end.
Could you offer any assistance with my concern? 2022 F-150 with 2900 miles. Ride quality drastically declined. Multiple people seem to have the same issue. I contacted multiple dealerships and Ford Motor Co. Purchasing dealer is going to look at it Monday. Had to speak with manager to get them to get me something to drive. Highly dissatisfied.

Dealing with this currently. Truck was a dream for the 1st 1000 miles. Heard a loud reverberation sound and since then I've had issues. Vibration and acceleration shudder under load predominantly in gears 6-10. Took a service foreman for a drive and he felt it at lower speeds when cruising surface streets. Dealers have no loaners so Im waiting to hear back. This has been an awful experience. Ride quality is awful and the engine has a distinctive 'groan' along with the vibration and shudder under load and some when cruising. Freeway is the worst. Hoping driveshaft. If they can fix it, I'll take it, but I was already told NPF once and I will not let it go. This truck is expensive too. Ram next time for me.

I had the same with my 2021. Traded for 2022 with the active suspension. So far no shaking, no vibration under load and idles well. Maybe I got good drive shafts this time. My last truck they kept saying it was normal. Finally had no recourse but to trade. Hope that doesn’t happen to you

Thank you. I cannot believe they keep saying this is normal. It is insulting. I cannot believe there hasnt been some resolve. There is a factory campaign or 2 that has been missed.

While waiting for my insulator shield recall I couldn't help but notice a mug on my dealers coffee bar..

"Keep calm and shudder on", in the chive style logo... I should have snapped a pic, but it's both funny and sad.. for sure this is random, and appears to be a luck of the draw situation..

I got a bad truck also, just chalking it up to being a ford. My first, and last probably. Dealer will be asked to investigate on my first oil change (again), and if no resolve, will be looking to cut my losses on this tremor at the 6month, 10,000km mark which is what I've heard is the minimum to ship them stateside

Another here that just picked up a 2022 xlt 2.7 eb last week. Noticed the vibration immediately and can feel it through the floor mat too. I came from a 2020 xlt 3.5 eb with nothing like this happening. At times it's so noticeable I feel like my foot starts to tingle.
Have locked it down to 7-9 gear and usually while causing maintaining speed. No issues past 75 on the highway. Who has luck thus far with a fix? It's a work truck so I am REALLY looking forward to constantly having to hassle with the dealer and my boss about it at the same time.

There is no fix! They will take your truck in and let it sit. Mines been in the shop going on two weeks this time and they’ve opened the door twice. The service rep tells me, when he chooses to answer me, “they have no clue what it is although they can feel the shudder”.

Hi Adam! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your F-150. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to see how I can assist you on my end.

Hi @Ford Motor Company !

This doesn't sound like an experience we all want to have with our F-150's.

Could you please send us PM's also so we can provide you with our VIN's and the name and location of our Ford dealers?

I'd be happy to see how you can assist us all on your end.

.....

As an update on mine, 8,200 km and 4 months into ownership, nothing has changed. Vibrates and shudders at basically all speeds.

Returned to my dealer for the second time to diagnose, here is what was done;

- the works service (oil, filter, rotate tires, etc. No written report provided as it should be though)
- reprogram integrated trailer relay module (recall)
- powertrain control module software update (recall)
- found 2 rear tires out of balance per road force machine (18 and 15), rebalanced. Fronts are deemed ok (12 and 8). Tech commented "Road tested and everything is normal"

Was told to come pickup my truck, and that "hopefully" that will help with the vibration and shudder.

It did not, and if anything the vibrating may be worse, and more pronounced at different speeds?

Still awaiting a fix and left a thorough review on the customer satisfaction survey post service visit. I am guessing nobody will follow up on that, so I will be calling next week when I can book another half day off work to be given mediocre service.

I've owned 15 vehicles in 25 years, this being my first Ford, and also my first brand new vehicle. What a letdown, if not fixed definitely my last Ford. I have a dozen friends with f150s, and another with a '21 Tremor also, theirs do not drive like this....

Same boat! What a shame. I have a feeling that Ford is circling the drain. The stealership is a joke, you go in there and they are all twiddling their thumbs. I walk in and they all ignore me. I ask where my advisor is? I get shrugs. I call I text, no answers. I literally could sit there for 2 hours and not get as much as a hello or can I help you. 2 months plus to get an appointment then you get there and then the excuses start. No transmission tech, we are backed up, …it’s raining. Next vehicle will definitely not be a ford. This is coming from a guy that’s had fords all their life. To add insult to injury they put this ford rep on here that copies and pastes the same lame responses to everyone that go no where. Anyone buying better keep their fingers crossed. I’d cross my eyes and toes as well that you don’t end up in the same boat.

This is what happened to me this morning ! driving to work this morning doing 92km/h in cruise. Truck started to shudder while driving at the mentioned speed, the shudder continued on for about 30 sec then went away. I few moments later , shudder came back but this time would not go away. It started shaking so bad I thought it was going to fall apart. A few sec later engine light came on and was blinking. I dropped my speed to about 70km/h but this did nothing, tried different drive modes, still nothing ! Drove about 15 km until a got to work. Called dealership AT 8 AM this morning and service rep advised me NOT to drive the truck and to have it towed into the dealership. Called towed truck and now truck is on its way to the dealership. Nothing worse than having a $100k truck, less than 6 months old and with only 15k kms on it getting towed away on a flat bed

Is anyone having vibration issues at 60 to 70 mph? My truck started vibrating at around 500 miles. It is only when you are on the gas just enough to maintain speed. When I let off the gas it is smooth. At higher speeds the vibration goes away. Shifting to a lower gear does not change the vibration. The tires have been forced road balanced and the vibration still remains. I have a XLT 4x4 with 18" Wheels.
Had this issue in my truck ford replaced rear gears vibration was no more

Update - There is no update ! I tried to get a hold of someone in service numerous times late in the day on Friday with no luck. finally someone answered my call but was not able to help me answer my questions, they said they would take down my name and number and she would have someone call me back before the end of the day. It was the end of the day as it was already 5pm. anyways after waiting again until 5:30 or so, I called back, same girl answered and said she would transfer me to service department, I told her I wasn't going to play this waiting game any more and that I wanted to talk to someone right now. she took my information down again and said she would make sure she would personally hand over my info to a service person. couple mins later I got a call. This dealership is a f@#$%n joke ! Anyway to make along story short, they hadn't even looked at my truck and didn't even know what i was talking about. I had to tell him that my $105k truck was shuddering so bad that i thought it was going to fall apart, I had it towed Friday morning to the dealership. His reaction was like really, I never heard of anyone complaining about a shudder before ! Yah right, like we haven't heard that BS before. Anyways, before I got off the phone I expressed how I felt about this whole situation with truck since day one and how I felt about the dealership. I will call them on Monday afternoon to get an update. Worse part is, I'm without a car now for work, I explained this to him and he flat out told me they have no loaners ! Will see what happens on Monday, if I have to go to the dealership to raise hell, I will.

Then I would suspect the drivetrain. Something happened at 500 miles to cause this. I would have your dealer check all mounts for any sign of looseness. Also check the driveshafts for any missing weights, bad u joints, or runout at the rear axle yoke. Yes as Up north said , a lot of dealers will try to pass it off as " they all do that or that's normal" Its not. It will take some digging and maybe a change of dealership, but it can be solved. Good luck.
Don’t think so. Mine has done it since new. 23,000 miles and still doing it. Back at shop for visit #6 since January
