after a smooth running 2018 my 2021 ran rough and idled poorly. The same engine in my 2022, thankfully runs as well as the 2018 i liked so much , at least so far.

I had the same with my 2021. Traded for 2022 with the active suspension. So far no shaking, no vibration under load and idles well. Maybe I got good drive shafts this time. My last truck they kept saying it was normal. Finally had no recourse but to trade. Hope that doesn’t happen to you

I just traded in my 2021 f150 ecoboost for a 2022 also with the eco boost thinking ford would fix this. I hope I wasn’t too optimistic. The dealer will let me drive it for a day. If it idles rough or stumbles I will not buy it. With so many complaints on this forum why hasn’t ford gotten...

I have the exact same complaints on my March 21 f150. Other threads suggest this may be a problem for the early 21’s. My Ford dealer reproduced the complaints but Ford corporate told me this was normal. I know it is not having put 110,000 miles on a 2018 with no issues. How do we get fords...

Any more developments? Mine is better with premium gas but by no means resolves. . It feels like both an engine issue and a drivetrain issue. If you figure this out please post. I am frustrated

My dealer replicated it, told Ford, Ford said “characteristic operation”. Ie normal

It even happens when idling in park. Shifting to a lower gear and therefore increasing the rpm seems to help. I fear since there are no error codes Ford will stick to their “normal function” position
