I agree, it looks tacky, and such a waste of space, having the heater controls and large boxes for someone's phone, come on, all we want is maps and music, or android auto/carplay full screen, that's pretty much it.

I've very please with how my 22 is, SYNC 4 is the best iteration in my opinion.

Looks tacky to me, like the Explorer screens. The current setup flows and is integrated better imo
Reminds me a lot more of the 21+ edge than the explorer. I have a 2020 Explorer with the vertical screen and it is a much worse setup than this is lol

I'm guessing this changes the infotainment get closer to the Lightning design. I don't think they will go backwards.

I think my horizontal screen has too much wasted space. I guess it is what everyone will have eventually. I am just not a fan of "soft" button climate controls. But it looks like in that picture it has soft button controls right above manual controls; just in case your arm is 1/2" shorter i guess, lol.

The way Ford is going it will be 2 years before the 2024's hit the street anyway.

Stay far away from these shitty climate control integrated screens. Same exact on-screen nonsense that's in the MME. NO THANK YOU

Oh, hard dislike. I don‘t mind vertical screens, but I do mind when the screen sticks out from the dash.

I'm guessing the hard buttons above the screen will be for similar functions as to the layout now. Hazards, camera functions, hill decent control etc...

I think the clear pic of the screen is from another vehicle just to demonstrate what it 'could' look like.

The pic that still has the camo on it looks more flush mounted to the dash vs the other pic where it sticks out.

Yea, good call. It looks more integrated in the actual camo pic. Hopefully it will be nice and not like a floating iPad, lol. That's just me though, some people like the tesla look.

it seems to be well integrated, I'm just more that we already have "outdated" tech in the truck, how long will they keep pushing updates?

I'll take horizontal screens and physical buttons. Everytime I see news on the '24 I'm glad I got a '23

I'm still waiting for mine to be built at the end of the month. But also the car market going downhill putts extra "do i really need to buy it now" :)

i have both an F150 and Ram 1500. both units are equipped with the 12 inch screen. in my honest opinion i don’t hate on one or the other. they both definitely have their pros and cons but at the end of the day i’m a happy camper with either or Lol.
