I’ve got a 25 King Ranch 3.5 non hybrid. My truck has been in the collision shop for 7 weeks.
Im positive I had the insulation foam top engine cover on top of the motor.
I’m also positive I had the skid plate under the transmission.

When I got it back both of these pieces were missing. They are denying I had the engine cover and skid plate under.

I don’t have pictures of either but really need to verify the engine cover did in fact come on this trim level.
I have handled the skid plate during it’s first oil change but never removed the engine cover.

I’m positive both covers had to be removed by them during the repair/rebuild.

I think the engine covers were removed in late 23. As for the skid plate did your truck come with the FX4 package? You should be able to pull up your window sticker and see what packages it came with.

Yes, FX4 package. I’m sure about skid plate. The engine cover has all the hardware mounted on the engine.

I took this pic from another thread, if you have FX4 you should have this installed. As mentioned above the foam transmission diaper material was removed.

Ford still provides the mounting points for the engine cover but not the cover itself.

Nope, they quit putting that stuff on in late 2023.

Thanks, that’s the one.
I may be mistaken about the engine cover but sure thought it was on there.

That’s why it’s a good idea to photograph everything when you have a long major repair job in a shop.

You most definitely did not have an engine cover unless you added it yourself, has not been used in production for 2 years now. Mounting points are still there on all motors as they never changed the intake manifold.

As far as I know, FX4 package doesn't cover the transmission pan. The diaper does. But they removed that. The skid plate in front should still be there. I added both pieces back to mine, though my engine cover says "powerboost" lol

The Raptor pan is the one that covers the transmission. Some PB frames have the front mounting points for the clips to mount it, and others don't. I don't remember the part numbers for it but it's not too expensive at around 150-200 for everything. Or at least was but who knows how much it is now.

Found it. lol

Pan - HL3Z-7222-E - $150 +/-
mounting hardware, W500633-S439 and W717461-S439 -$20.

My 2021 EcoBoost 3.5 came with a foam engine cover that says powerboost from the factory. I don't have a powerboost...but I do have a engine cover.

What other stuff besides the top engine cover? FX4 option still covers skid plates.
The rear “plate” was deleted, the one that covers the transmission or part of it
The engine cover was deleted as well.
Not sure about the transfer case plate.
You may still have the front one
