when he sold stuff over a forum. I dont remember him providing Tracking Numbers, but since he is setup a business now...hope he provides tracking numbers. I am anxiously waiting for the harness......but at this rate dont know if the truck or the harness will arrive 1st. haha

Hi guys I’ve been following this thread for a few weeks now and decided to jump in on this mod since I’ve done this exact mod on my previous 2018 f150 Lariat but just recently trade it in for a 2023 f150 XLT. I really want my switches back ?? I originally followed Boosted’s very first thread as he originally designed the first plug and play kit he designed over on the other forum and many of us followed along and it all worked out great ???? But I just wanted to let you know you guys can do this your self’s . It’s truly not difficult to build your own harness. Well to tell you the truth I’ll explain how I just purchased it. You can just order the compatible wire harness for a raptor or tremor for $131.89 + tax and just remove everything you don’t need from the harness. Just remember to not cut any of the wires and all the connectors are all ready pine for you. I have zero experience with wiring anything and I got it to work perfectly ?‍ The only problem I’m having is where exactly do I find where to connect for switch illumination to the console ?? On my 2018 f150 Boosted just recommended that we just solder the purple wire to the 10th pin on the overhead console and it worked perfect. ?‍ My 2023 f150 has a different pin layout and I have zero clue now where I should tap into for illumination the the switches ?‍ I’ll include some pics of the parts I’ve already received I’m waiting on the f250 fuse box I ordere. If anyone has any idea of where I could tap into for illumination to the switches at the overhead console please let me know thanks ?

Have you put yours together yet? My trucks just finished week 3 at the body shop from getting rear ended in February so I haven’t had anytime to even look where I’ll be running the harness that I should be getting any day I hope.

Still gathering all my parts but I’m getting closer. So far I’ve got the Overhead console the mega fuse and the relay box. I just learned that my wire harness is possibly the wrong one. The one I have listed above i believe is for a 2022 tremor overhead console. The console I ordered is out of a 2022 raptor and for some reason the pin layout is different as well as the wire colors ?‍ I also was able to allocate the wiring diagram from a Ford tech I just met. My biggest problem is I still haven’t figured out where exactly I should get illumination to the switch’s from. I’ve been searching all the forums for an answer and still haven’t locked down a exact location for a 2023. If you or anyone happen to know where to connect to get illumination to the switches let me please know ? Will up date after receiving all my parts ?

@2023f150xlt you get the illumination from either pinning into a BCM connector or using an add-a-fuse at the BCM fuse box located in the passenger footwell area. You're basically looking for accessory/ignition power because you want the switch illumination to turn on when you have the key in the ignition but the engine isn't on as well as when you turn the truck on. This is my understanding of it.

Not that I’m aware of. Everyone on this thread ordered within seconds also. Not sure what’s going on

I don't understand a business quoting a target they can't hit. I sure hope they didn't go to his dealers.
