I have a '22 Powerboost with the raptor overhead console and BGG upfitter harness. I also have a hardwired Thinkware U1000 with the iVolt Mini. I need to be able to disable power to my dashcam for driving and parking in areas I don't want it to record. However, I need it to function normally and feed from the ivolt mini for parking mode at all other times. I currently unplug it manually, but that's a pita when driving and I often forget to plug it back in.
I don't seem to need to provide power from the relay to the camera, merely switch from power provided by the ivolt mini to no power at all. Needs to persist after shutoff until switch is toggled again. If I didn't have the ivolt mini, this would be very easy to do. But it has already proved its value in public parking lots.
Is this possible with the upfitter switches, or would I need something else?
