Worked for McDs when I was 15. Used to make a bunch of burgers to sit in the heated bin, but now they make everything on-demand. Quarters tasted a lot better after sitting in the bin for an hour than they do 'fresh'. We'd have a huge crockpot for the mcribs where they could sit for half of the day in the BBQ sauce. When they'd be in season, grabbing one of the ones that'd been down at the bottom of the pot all day made for the best taste. That was back when 5 high school kids would be running the whole store w/out issue. Now there's a dozen adults in McDs screwing up orders while playing on phones and scratching their ass.Fast food is garbage anyway, but I will have a quarter pounder with cheese and a small fry from McD’s once or twice a year as a guilty treat. I brown bag my lunch for work, I eat a healthy diet (with a cheat day here and there), it helps keep the weight off and saves me money, so I can spend it on King Ranches and European vacations instead. ?
