Fast food is garbage anyway, but I will have a quarter pounder with cheese and a small fry from McD’s once or twice a year as a guilty treat. I brown bag my lunch for work, I eat a healthy diet (with a cheat day here and there), it helps keep the weight off and saves me money, so I can spend it on King Ranches and European vacations instead. ?
Worked for McDs when I was 15. Used to make a bunch of burgers to sit in the heated bin, but now they make everything on-demand. Quarters tasted a lot better after sitting in the bin for an hour than they do 'fresh'. We'd have a huge crockpot for the mcribs where they could sit for half of the day in the BBQ sauce. When they'd be in season, grabbing one of the ones that'd been down at the bottom of the pot all day made for the best taste. That was back when 5 high school kids would be running the whole store w/out issue. Now there's a dozen adults in McDs screwing up orders while playing on phones and scratching their ass.

I mean, it'd be wise to forgo both, no? I've had a kuerig for 18 years now and that's about as deluxe as the coffee gets. Not the cheapest route, but it's fast and consistent. Fast food on the other hand ends up being a wash on price vs the alternatives sans a ramen diet when intelligently sourced.

For ADAS the best product out there is the comma 3x so long as you don't mind its screen. For less than a 3yr sub to BC, it's lifelong until you get an encrypted can bus vehicle.

Lots of folks have been able to do the same but license plates and bumpers don't lie; the collateral damage is pretty obvious. An all-chrome bumper will be a little forgiving when parallel parking so long as you're bumping into softer vehicles. There's really no replacement for a camera allowing you to put the rear end an inch from wall though.
I'm way too impatient. And i get honked at because I'm too slow. I'm also anal. I payed big bucks for a modified ipma to get the feature. I was feeling cheated.

Heaven forbid someone give up that once a week Starbucks latte or every other week Big Mac meal for a Level 2 autonomous driving experience.
lol I had both today thanks to no blue cruise fees on my truck but it was a triple shot though.

@HammaMan I did Mcds as a teen as well. We used the McRib BBQ bin to soak chicken sandwiches to eat. I lived off the waste bin when we had to throw away old sandwiches from the warming bin. They told you you couldn’t eat them but I could put down a couple cheeseburgers from the walk between the two.

I had BC on my 24 XLT. It was cool to use but I wasn’t totally impressed.
every time I used it on the highway, when I cam to a sweeping turn the BC would disengage and yell at me to put my hands on the wheel.
I didn’t use it a lot since I live in the sticks so when I saw the monthly charge I decided it wasn’t worth it.
What does Tesla charge for there version of BC?

It's been a moving bar and they deleted their hands free version now only offering "FSD". Their basic system is the same as ford's hands-on. For $8k you can upgrade to the so called FSD.

It means exactly what it says. If someone can't park or hook up a trailer without relying on newfangled technology to help them do it, the problem is with the driver, not the truck.

It's a general comment about any/all drivers in general. Its' not intended to be something to get personally offended at (if that's what you are eluding to).
Ever been at a boat ramp waiting to launch your boat? Anything that helps beginners do it safely and quickly is a good thing. Happy you can do it easily. So can I. But we weren’t born that way.

Yes, I have.

No, we were not born that way - we learned to do it without gadgets and gimmicks. They can, too.

In the meantime the electronic aids help them get out of the way faster. And that’s fine by me.
Don't forget to give them thier participation trophy while you're at it!
