No. The circuit needs to see an equivalent resistance to the squawker in order to not show an error.

Yes, flipping the forscan bit prevents an error. You can leave it plugged in and it works or you can just unplug it like it's an accessory charging via USB and the truck doesn't care. The forscan change tells the computer to ignore it missing but it doesn't disable it.

Flipping the forscan DTC bit allows one to wire up their own power switch at the connector if desired. Anyone wanting the power wire's position/color, just ask.

Ok…really dumb…when i try to locate a fellow PB on the streets, i look for the badge on the front door. My eyes not great…so, i mostly look for an outline of the Powerboost badge at bottom of front doors. Is this correct way to identify a fellow PB?

So, are there any other F150s that have a badge of any kind in the front lower door??

(Yes, i can tell difference b/w F150 and SuperDuty‘s Powerstroke badge…so that is easy.)

Supposedly someone said the bypass doesn't work on 24's..not sure who but our bypass continues to work on all years of the Powerboost and any ford hybrid out there.

I took the megaohm device off my Lightning when I sold it and installed it on the 2024 PB. Works fine.
