Traction Bars

I've searched the forums and don't really see anything related to my questions.

Has anyone put in traction bars for f150 crewcab shortbed 5.0 that is lifted 6+inches? I feel I'm starting to get axle wrap issues in the rear but almost everything available for purchase maxes out at 2020 models.

Feel like I'm going into custom fab territory, Has anyone successfully installed 2020 traction bars on a 14th gen f150 without welding onto the axle tubes? Any insight would be appreciated.

Thank for the input, but think that's more for racing applications. Those only stops axle wrap in one direction and lose a significant amount of ground clearance.

Was looking more for ladder type which seems to be only for older gens or custom ones that require welding.

Might need a full raptor +2 spring pack and go back to a stock block, alcan custom or at least a RAS to help manage the axle wrap.

Hellwig and steeda makes a rear sway bar kit that will help tighten the rear end up and lessen the body roll. Bwoody is another company that makes chassis Stuff. All so research rear shock relocation bracelets that would make the shocks more vertical which will improve the ride quality. Good luck.

I’m having the exact same problem with my 2023 Rocky Ridge F-150. I’m seeing VAS Traction Bars. But they’re more so like Caltrac Traction Bars because they seem more geared towards racing. Most companies like BDS, KSP and Rough Country haven’t made any traction bar kits for 2021+ as of yet. I’ve even called them on the phone myself. Hope this helps.

Nice ride btw! I emulated the rocky ridge build in almost every way; lift, wheel size/spacing, fox shocks, and RR grill ?. I kept stock wheels for now ?.

Nice setup! Can’t wait to see what rims and tire setup you go with? And I’m trying to have that same patience for the traction bars before I add my Ford Performance Whipple. My next mod will be Boost Auto Tow mirrors. I’ll be installing myself. ?

I just found this guy on Instagram that ran Kaotic Concepts Traction Bars on his 2021 Rocky Ridge! I myself have a 2023 Rocky Ridge and will be ordering mines very soon because I don’t think there’s a difference in the truck frame work from 2021 to 2023. I hope this helps you. Here’s the link to Kaotic Concepts. They have 2 designs and does not come powder coated. Comes only in raw metal look. Here’s 2 pictures of his truck.

After doing more research and speaking with them over the phone. I’ve decided to go with Up Country Fab’s ladder style traction bars. They powder coat and Kaotic Concepts does not. When I called around to different companies who powder coat in my area, it came out cheaper to just let Up Country Fab do it. So I will be color matching my traction bars with my truck. They have plenty of options. I’ll be ordering mines within the next month.
