So with these new trucks then seems like the 2.5” is to high? Because as stated my 19 max tow still has about an inch of rake with the 2.5” level. What’s different with the 21+?

Not exactly sure. I'm either going to be really happy that I went with the 2" level or kind of upset that I didnt go a bit bigger and do the 2.5". I'll know in the next few days and post pictures/findings for everyone.

Awesome to hear. Thanks for responding. I think the 2" level will be good for what I'm hoping to achieve, especially since Im keeping stock tires and wheels. Im going to eventually go with the roadmaster standard kit. I think the HD version would be overkill for what I pull. Ive heard nothing but good things about it. Whats your experience been like?
I ordered the standard kit, but should have ordered the HD kit. My travel trailer is about 7500 lbs dry weight, and probably around 1000 lbs of tongue weight with hitch setup, propane, and battery. I still have a little bit of sag with this setup, but otherwise happy with it empty and with lighter loads. I just ordered a '23 and only plan to do a 2" level spacer when/if I get it someday, LOL.

My truck is a Powerboost, so maybe the weight of the hybrid battery has something to do with it in my case.

It's an early built Powerboost, and has been having quite a few quirks. Its currently been at the dealership for almost 3 weeks with the leaking heat exchanger, and about a dozen other odds and ends that need to be addressed. They don't know when the parts will come in, so not sure when I'll get it back. I've got a little over 20k miles on it, and figured if I can get most, or all of my money back, I might as well take advantage of the market. Bought it for $8.5k under MSRP, so I think it'll work out pretty well. I love the 7.2 KW ProPower, and will miss that the most. Ordered a 402A Tremor from Granger Ford for 3% under invoice. It's not the best choice for towing our TT, but I'll cross that bridge when the time comes.

This is factory 3.5 rake and just over 2" with rear blocks removed. I think the wheel well liners make a big difference on a light color truck...tones down the exaggerated look of the rake.

I'm thinking about leveling my truck as well, was leaning toward a 2" puck; I see yours has the 502a package. Did you lower the rear to avoid any issues caused by raising the front regarding ride height sensors?

I lowered the rear because it's zero cost and makes the bed more accessible....and I don't have any real need to raise the front. I am not against leveling pucks or coilovers or lifts. If I go larger with tires when the OEMs wear out I may do a 1.5 level and put the blocks back in. This is not my only vehicle and I am not trying to make my pickup truck look or drive sporty. I have a car for that.

I did the same…..dumped my 21 PB Limited after it was at the dealer about 8x and some things were still not working. I was frustrated and bought a 22 Tremor. Couldn’t be happier. I also did the AS 2.5” level on the Tremor and it sits nicely.

Adding a 300 lb fiberglass cap levels my truck perfectly. Towing a trailer I like being able to put gear into the bed of the truck and have it protected from the weather and from thieves.

Handling with a trailer in tow is important to me and changing the basic factory suspension is not a great idea. To me it is interesting that so many truck owners are obsessed with how pretty their truck looks in the parking lot. It used to be the Cadillac and Corvette owners and the guys with lowriders that focused on looks over utility.

Good to hear. I don't exactly have a lot of confidence in my '21 PB for the longterm. I'm looking forward to getting the Tremor eventually, and leveling it ASAP.

Level your truck for daily driving and look. If needed add some helper air bags on the rear to level if needed when towing. I did this on my 2010 F150 Lariat. It looked great and the air bags worked great! They are relatively inexpensive and they are a breeze to install. I am doing the same thing to my 2022 Lariat. I tow a 5500 boat and this setup worked great. Your best towing setup is when everything is level. You do not want your trailer raked forward or backwards. Leveling the trailer eliminates a lot of sway issues. I've been towing boats and RV's for over 40 years and this setup works!

If anyone was wondering or curious, I added an "UPDATE" to my original post with my results. I'll maybe post some pictures after I get my truck washed (shes a little dusty atm).

I recently installed the Falcon adjustable shocks on my 22 Max tow. Had the 3.5 inch factory rake. It leveled it out to just about 3/4" Rake. I then installed my RAS on the HD setting. Also have the Equalizer 4 hitch.

Very happy with my recent towing experience. Once loaded with family and trailer the rear was 41" and the front was 40". Felt planted , minimum bounce, and loved the option to change the shocks to sport/tow mode. If you can swing it, it's a pretty great setup.

Trailer is 31', 7k lbs.
