When I get similar connectivity issues I do a reset. Hold the audio power knob diwn with the ffwd button for 10 seconds, and sync restarts and then usually connects.
I had a similar issue. Interior lights on my horse trailer were left on, which resulted in a heavy current draw and no charging along with the same message that you had. I recharged the trailer battery fully. Message eventually disappeared and battery remains charged. I never figured out...
It really depends on the driving. In non hwy, I can easily get the 23 rated, sometimes will hit 26; but on average, a combo of both Hwy, non Hwy I seem to average around 20-21. Hwy mileage is very dependent on speed, above 80, and it drops below 19. I haven't driven that much hwy, but the...
I'm thinking about leveling my truck as well, was leaning toward a 2" puck; I see yours has the 502a package. Did you lower the rear to avoid any issues caused by raising the front regarding ride height sensors?
It's my understanding that Forscan will not alter/should not alter PCM parameters, so backing them up is done. I'm very new to Forscan as well.
I'm new to Forscan as well; for what it's worth, Forscan doesn't allow changes to PCM module so backing it up isn't done. I'm a former and long time...
So I probably need to unplug the PACM as well, even though my default was 4 before setting to 0? When I tried it changing the to 4 to 0, I think after writing it changed a value in the next address, so I got a little worried about screwing things up, reset everything and then cleared the codes...
I tried it, my default was a 4, so I set it to 0 and did not disconnect the module. I still had the alert, and I set some codes, not sure what they were. I put things back to original and then cleared codes and called it a day! I pulled up the spreadsheet, and for some reason it looks...
I had the same result, along with a bunch of DTCs for that module. I did see that someone is selling a fix for this online. It's a dummy load module that plugs into the harness in place of the speaker that's mounted up front behind the bumper area. It's $50, thinking about it...
Okay, I didn't understand the format! I thought the only change to 726-01 was the 2, in the second position, and that the 1 in the 4th position was on the next line! Duh! So what I will have is x2x1 xxxx xx--. Glad I took the photos to show what I did!
Not sure what I'm doing wrong; I input the changes, did the write, cycled the key and hit the stop button. Other changes stayed, but the 726-81-02 reverts to 0?
I also tried changing bed lighting option to enabled in the BdyCM.
Yes, I understood that part, I was confused about the address being shown twice. If I get this to work, the next thing on my list is to see if I can stop the pedestrian warning chime when I put it into reverse!
Gene, I have a 22 Lariat PB with the 502A, same as you I think, so I installed the harnesses, lights and switch . The switch already works the cab cargo light, and now I'm trying figure out the Forscan part. Do you have the correct addresses and values to use. I tried those listed in a...
If I understand correctly, there haven't been any issues caused by using FORSCAN, you only switched things back to avoid any confusion or excuses while having a headlight failure taken care of under warranty?
Did you ever find out if the dealer would update the BCM for you? I've added the lights as well, thinking I would use forscan; however, after reading some comments about ruining PCMs I've gotten cold feet!
