Yeah, I do question the durability of the console shifter. Whenever using the stow function it sounds like it's not going to make it. Gr rr rr gr rr grr rr grr. I worry it won't come back out of stowage.

- 360 degree cameras for parking. In addition, the bed camera helps you see what is in the blind zones and works great as a digital rear view mirror in the 12" display when there is payload blocking the rear window.
- Adaptive cruise with speed sign recognition and lane centering. In general all the 360 Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 and other safety features including Auto High Beams.
- Google Assistant and Android Auto Integration. I hope it gets even better!
- NAV display in the instrument panel (Turn direction and distance)
- Power Boost's EV Coach.
- Keep you hands on the steering wheel alerts when using Adaptive cruise control with lane centering. The alerts happen about every 15 seconds unless you turn the steering wheel and offer resistance against lane centering. This does reduce the enjoyment of using lane centering. It takes a lot of time to get use to knowing that just resting your hands on the steering wheel is not good enough, even when lane centering is doing a great job.
- Radio Audio doesn't turn on/unmute when you press the increase volume button the steering wheel. If I press the volume up button it means I want audio.
- The rear seat (60 percent side) is a pain in the rear to drop the seats back and even more so to put back in place, even with an after market latch release. I wish Ford would make the rear seat back fold down like the 40 percent side because I use the space for storage because I have no subwoofer.
- Unable to turn off the beeping sound when backing up. I wish there were a setting to turn this off.
- Interior lighting is not that great. Since I do not have a moonroof it would have been great to have another light in the middle if the roof.
Hello! Send us a private message with your F-150's VIN and name & location of dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this adaptive cruise control issue. Thank you!Likes:
1. Headlights...the visibility is great.
2. Heated and cooled seats.
3. Quietness of the cab.
4. Gas mileage. I have the 3.5 eco and it's a heck of a lot better than my Silverado.
5. The sensors and cameras and the infotainment center in general.
Dislikes:
1. My adaptive cruise control does not work. I have been to the dealership twice. I was told it's a software issue that happened to some early 21 models after the OTA update in November or October. Ford will release an OTA to fix it for those of us that have the issue in December (still don't have it). At least that's what I was told.
2. No step on/in the bumper.
3. I don't care for the console shifter. I'd like it on the column or even the dial that ram has.
4. No blue cruise despite having the hardware. Just bought the truck a few months too early (only because I had to get rid of my old one).
5. The issue where it shifts into park if you open the door in drive. It's not like it's a daily thing, it's just odd when it happens. You notice the door isn't shut or something is caught. You stop and try to open it quickly to fix the situation and close the door and the truck goes nuts.
Overall, I am really happy with it. I just really wish this adaptive cruise control issue would get sorted out. It bums me out that I have to wait for Ford to fix this. It doesn't even seem like it's a huge issue (not many people complaining about it) so I wonder if they will ever get around to it.
Wait, WHAT?? Am I the only one not reading this right? Is that a typo? It doesn't seem like a typo since you have it in "likes" but this is a feature everyone wants and has complained that we can't keep it on over 8mph. Did you have to use forscan or are newer trucks able to do this?I figured this would be a good place to discuss likes and dislikes since many of us are receiving our trucks now and others frequent the forum looking for information. Give a little info on your setup, you make dislike a feature on your Limited that I don't have on my Lariat. I know some of us have our specs in our signatures but post them anyways in case you change your signature later. Try to only post 5, I know it's easy to go on a rant.

- The fact I can use the back cameras while driving down the road. (I know some people are still waiting on the update for this one.) And the cameras in general, just nice to have on such a large vehicle.
It works on the Build 2 trucks, the ones that were built the second half of the year. No forscan. Hopefully they'll release an update for the Build 1 trucks. It's been discussed in other threads.Wait, WHAT?? Am I the only one not reading this right? Is that a typo? 1: Quiet and comfortable. By far the most Comfortable (including ride) truck I've ever owned.
2: Adaptive cruise with speed control.
3: ability to set sync to stay on night mode. In my Tacoma, you had to turn on the headlights and it would dim the backup camera. I hated that.
4: I love the 360 view.
5: Plenty of power, and towing doesn't half my gas Mileage.
Dislikes:
1: It doesn't stay in the last mode. Returns to normal mode when shut off.
2) My commute is all in town. I set the transmission to 7 speed and get a little better gas mileage. It also changes back when shut off.
3) It sometimes forgets what my view is set on.
4: Sync will sometimes go to the settings tab for no reason.
5: I'm not crazy about the piped in engine noise.
[/QUOTEHow do you "set the transmission to 7 speed"? Do youse the manual option? Just curious.
I don't think my reply made it on the first try. How do you set the transmission to 7 speed? Do you use the manual option? Just curious.2021 F150

I agree with what you said about early GEN14 not like later GEN14. I've read on this site about owners not being able to activate the rear view cameras while driving at speed. My rear view cameras will show at any speed. I also don't have the annoying start/stop feature. My build date was 9/20/21.As much as that wait sucked ass... the "silver lining" is that Ford made a lot of upgrades after the July 7th production date.
The 7/8/21 GEN14 is not the same as the 7/6/21 GEN14.
I'm not sure yet if I'm 100% happy with the changes but the fact that they did make so many obviouse changes the 2021s we got are likely more of a 2022 built in 2021. We won't really know until the 22's hit the lots.
It could end up being a minor factor in "resale" but if I remain as happy as I am with my truck, I doubt I'll be selling it.
had one of these on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. turned OFF the stop start. And it also kept the setting on AC the same...so makes me wonder if it would keep recirculate AC on for those whom want it?This is what worked for my auto start/stop works great and only took less than a hour to install.
