Weathertech tonneau bedcover doesn’t need to be opened for the bedcover to open and close. Price is comparable to most others about 900-1k. Got mine with the floor mats, bug deflector. Solid seal as far as rain

Same here. TruXport soft roll up is my favorite (and is pretty much the least expensive option) and no problems with the auto tailgate.I have the soft Truxedo TruXport soft roll up. No issues with auto tailgate up/down
My Backflip MX4 on a new platinum tailgate (non-PAT) works perfectly both up and down from either the key fob or dash button. Not cheap at $1,199 installed plus tax but a well made hard tri-fold. It always comes down to getting what you pay for and the cheap man pays the most. Good luck and I hope you find one you're happy with.My Pro x15 is like 75% success rate on working with the auto drop. Super cold or nose down hill much less likely.

I had a Truxedo tri-fold soft tonneau on my '16 F150 and it held up very well. I opted for the MX4 to hopefully gain more security over the soft models. Might at least keep the honest people honest if they have to work harder.Um I'm very happy with my Prox15 which is also a higher end soft roll up by tuxedo. The handful of times it didn't drop are inconsequential to the rest of the covers functionality.
Personally I'm not a big fan of trifolds. The hard covers for sure provide some decent security but I really don't put valuables in my bed over night when I'm not around. I'm mainly loading bikes and dirt bikes so a easy and fast removal is my ticket. I also love the woven fabric vs vinyl.I had a Truxedo tri-fold soft tonneau on my '16 F150 and it held up very well. Short of a cap or different style of cover that seals over the bed rails (e.g., Diamondback), none will keep 100% of water out. That being said, I only get water when washing the truck and have a hose directed at the seals, the bed is dry during normal rain. A lot of it likely depends on the installation.Does it seal and keep water out?
Bak flip made in USADoes anyone have a tonneau cover with an auto lift/drop tailgate..
I was with my brother, looking at his and he has unlock the cover and raise or flip it to unlock the tailgate. Defets the purpose of having an auto tailgate.
Any list somewhere that might point this out?
