Hey folks, I've made the switch. My previous daily was a '13 Ram 1500 Sport, fully loaded. I'm now rocking a gently used '22 F-150 Lariat, Sport, 502A, 5.0l, 4WD, Rapid Red Metallic. My 5 year old son has named it the Scarlet Scorcher. So far, it's living up to it's name.

I remember when my 21 looked like that.
Plenty of things to do or just roll with it as it is.
Love the Rapid/Lucid Red color. ?

So far, I've upgraded the following:
1. Borla touring cat-back exhaust
2. Roush cold air intake
3. Ceramic tinted the front at 35%
4. Black tailgate lettering
5. Black tailgate Ford emblem
6. BAP gloss side vents
7. Husky wheel liners

Bought and on the way:
1. Ford performance lowering kit (front and back)
2. Steeda rear sway bar
3. Morimoto LED grill (to be painted gloss black)

Planned:
1. Ford performance 22" wheels
2. Aluminum slat retractable tonneau
3. Big brakes???

Stock mats are disappointing and not on your list.
Happy I went with Tuxmat. Made in China but business is in Canada. Best floor coverage possible.

Great point. I'll be looking into those soon.

They are beautifully designed mats but the heel pads wore out and lifted within 5k miles on both a Golf R and RS3. I got another few months out of them via JB plastic welding the pads back down but they looked pretty beat soon after. One of the sets had toe or fingerprints all over it which for a mat, who cares UNLESS you're paying north of $200 for what they call "The Ultimate Car Mat".

I wouldn't fathom running TuxMats in a truck. They are prototypical Cars & Coffee mats meant to be seen, not really designed to be used even in mildly rugged scenarios like say loading the kids up for baseball or soccer practice.

You must not have read the threads here.
Salt, mud, rocks, whatever. It all comes off easy and wearing great for many of us. Covers more than any other over carpet mat. Truthfully I'd be happy with a Lariat and the XL vinyl flooring though. I have never understood carpet in any vehicle. Too annoying to keep clean so I cover it for the trade in value in a decade.

Glad to hear! Nah didn’t read anything here because after two fails on other platforms I would have never searched. Running another brand on the F150 now but anyhow, good that they are working for ya.

I do not do any off road or mudding with my truck, so I prefer the carpet feel under my feet. I went with Lloyds Mats and the ultimate carpet mats. The back space without the locking under back seat storage is huge so the cost is higher, but it is great. Again not a cheap date but I do love a carpet mat.

Pics are crap but you can see what they look like.

Getting there, folks. I've put on the new grille. I also just ordered the Ford Performance 22" wheels. I'll post pictures as soon as they're installed.

Yep, two 70 pound dogs trying to beat the crap out of these for over a year and nary a scratch. Best $190 I’ve ever spent. TuxMats are the real deal…. Even if they are made in China (that part does suck).
