this may or may not sound dumb, but try a couple bottles of fuel cleaner on your next fill up.
I'll have to look into that. I have 15,000 miles on the fuel filters so they are getting changed again when I get the truck back.

I guess we have different opinions of service and being taken care of.

I'd happily pay for a rental for few days to avoid weeks of waiting. If you have a Ford ESP, I believe it offers a first day loaner as well.
I do have the top tier ESP but all my repairs where still under the initial warranty. Autonation always had to sit around and wait for the engineering guys at Ford to instruct and authorize the next troubleshooting step with my truck because nobody knew why it was broken or how to fix it.

That's kind of the point though right?

How is it that regular old folks and a handful of gurus, armed with the same documentation that is afforded ANY tech, can have a better understanding and often superior results, than the techs wearing a shirt with a Blue Oval on the pocket?

While I admit that these trucks have a lot of modules and electronic components, but they aren't infinite. They aren't magic black boxes. They are a finite ensemble of components and a dedication to process of elimination can and should remedy the vast majority of issues.
The shear number of pinpoint tests listed in the factory service manual is daunting. Yet even the most complicated one is just a series of steps that are designed to eliminate one or more possibilities at a time.

I don't understand this new norm of calling Ford and waiting to be told how to diagnose everything beyond an air filter change.

However, The one aspect that I absolutely do hold the manufacturer accountable for is the obvious controls they have been forced to put in place to insure they aren't being taken to the cleaners by bogus work orders. It's so disappointing to see the decay in the trust relationship between the factory and the authorized factory service. To me it's outright adversarial. The consumer is the loser, as a result.

I would channel my inner-Karen, and/or go to a different dealer for service. You're being too loyal, for too little reward IMO.

Dealerships in Houston are jam packed with vehicles waiting for a tech to get to them. You don't just make an appointment here and have same day service unless you are getting an oil change which will still take 4 or 5 hours of waiting. When I was trying to find a dealership last year to look at the check engine light, most said don't bring it to us because we can't even get to it for several weeks and we do not have loaners.

Crazy. Im in the Tampa Bay FL area and there are probably 10 dealerships to bounce around to. I'd think Houston would have a few more.

All of them.
Afterall, you have months to decide.

I've driven from down near Galveston, to College Station, and got a hotel room for a couple of days, just to get something I wanted done on a previous truck.

Convenience is sometimes a complicated equation.

I'd be calling another one of those orange dots then..
It just doesn't work like that here. You will wait wether you like it or not no matter which dealer you choose in the greater Houston area. It you find a dealership that puts you in a service loaner you have struck gold and then continue to wait for your truck to be repaired.

Is it only vibrating when on the accelerator? This is a pretty strange one. Does it sound like its coming from the engine?

Maybe ask them to check out the transmission too. Its been known to have bad vibrations when either busted or underfilled.

It has the vibration when the truck is in motion and starts being noticeable above 15 mph as long as the engine and transmission are warmed up. It may be more noticeable in the afternoon because the truck is already sitting in a parking lot with temperatures at 100+ degrees lately and anything metal is too hot to touch so it warms up almost instantly. There is no noise that I can hear so I'm not sure where it is coming from. I told them it could be the engine or transmission so check both.

He isnt kidding. I started doing my own oil changes because ever since covid it would take an entire day to get a oil change. Whenever i have had to get warranty work done i would take it to autonation. I learned that there is one service guy that i had to start requesting. Hes not one of the lazy old dudes and knew exactly what the issue was as i explained it. (I knew what it was too and didn't have to act like i didnt)

I'll concur that AutoNation in Katy seems to be the best option for service in the Houston area. that doesn't' mean it's great, but it is the best of the bunch. I'm fortunate to travel a lot so I can drop mine off and uber to the airport then pick it back up when I return. Thankfully I've not had any gremlins that took multiple weeks or trips to diagnose.
