Temps fluctuating

I have a 2024 XLT 3.5. I have noticed my water temps fluctuating from around 185-210, with normal driving in about 70 degree weather. Normal?

Mine does the same. Likely just ford showing the actual temp measurements instead of the "dummy" version

Normal, and extremely frustrating, imo. The computer controls all of it and does a lousy job. Pretty sure that's why they don't give us the actual temps and just give us the idiot gauge. We all pay too much attention to the actual numbers and then we sweat it.

yeah, you can actually pull up on the display and get the actual numbers.

Normal. I tow with mine and when I first saw this, in normal temp and in high temp/hum I thought oh crap, just wait until I'm pulling the trailer in this! Well been there, done that, didn't matter. Maybe occasionally it gets a little hotter, but never into close to danger territory.

I now hardly even look at it anymore. Towing or not.
