Yep, a little too much drilling to get into the Supercab door, and way too far to walk on the Supercrew. That's the reason I went with the regular cab.

Correct, but you forgot it’s also only available on the Raptor 803 (R package). The 5.2L V8 engine has a hefty price tag at $120,000.

Raptor "R" isn't useful for everyday driving around town, etc. Unless your case of "useful" is the open country, ie. desert/dirt off-roading, rock-crawling.

The RaptorR is heavenly for a daily I just don’t have the coin without being a complete idiot ?

edit: okay 12mpg combined doesn’t sound too good, but with the 36g tank it has better range than most EVs ?

Folks have lots of good personal reasons for preferring / choosing a SuperCrew vs a SuperCab for their ideal truck. There's certainly legitimate pros and cons to each depending on one's needs and use-habits.

When I made ^that first post^ I sure didn't expect 60+ posts to follow demonstrating those individual preferences, but I guess I 'invited' that! ?

We all know that Ford sells far more SCrews than SCabs, so here's a few more shots for the happy minority fans of the SuperCab ....

It'll never happen, but if Ford let me order a Lariat 502a PowerBoost SuperCab I'd be at the dealer tomorrow. Cost is not a concern, just order me one.

As far as I know the Super Crew has never been available with an 8' box. At least as far back as 2014 this has been true. You've always had to go to a Super Duty to get that combo.

The longest combo in F150 has been Super Cab and 8' box, 163" WB. Had one in 2014. Now I have a 2022 F150 Super Crew and 6.5' box, with 158" WB.

Hmmm, the 2023 model year Order Guide shows the SuperCab 8.0' box (163.7" WB) available as either 4x2 or 4x4 in XL and XLT trims.

Probably darned few of those ordered / sold, but methinks yours isn't nearly the last one built.

I have only seen maybe two of them in person since I've been buying F-150s and noticing others - they might be the rarest config.

Dig the SCab, 6.5 bed keeps things out of sight and good wheel base for towing.
