Yeah I
Snap on mirrors work just fine for 31’ Airstream. No way $1k+ for factory ones
Yeah I have the snap on ones and they work just fine for my 5th wheel

Bought my truck used and I wanted the factory "Truck/Tow" mirrors. The truck mirrors were about they only thing couldn't' get all checked off when purchasing used.

I know we call them Tow mirrors, but I just think of them as Truck Mirrors.
There ya go again, semantics notwithstanding just making sense of things. (y)

I do in fact have one F150 (2012) that I purchased new in 2011 primarily for hauling people around to see college football games. (rather than driving my F350 Diesel, at the time)

It has those Camry mirrors because it came with them and it absolutely is a Texas Camry! (family passenger vehicle) But if I woke up tomorrow and found that someone had put truck mirrors on it, I would not be disappointed. ?

I had the standard mirrors and I added the power folding and telescope tow mirrors to my 23 XLT. I park my truck in the garage and wouldn't be able to do that without power folding on the tow mirrors. The standard mirrors were not as bad as I would have expected when towing our travel trailer. The tow mirrors are better but not as dramatic an improvement as I would have hoped. I still rely on the blind spot system to a degree. Especially on the passenger side with the awning arms.

There are some drawbacks. I was shocked to see the like 3+mpg highway drop (unloaded) and they do block visibility a bit more than I'd like. When I first got the mirrors on my truck I nearly missed a car being blocked by the driver mirror.

On my SuperDuty truck, truck mirrors are the only option. Or you could say that there is no option for car mirrors on a SuperDuty.

On my F150 Powerboost, I had to choose the option to get Truck Mirrors, because on the F150 car mirrors are standard. ?
truck mirrors should be standard on the f150 as well... make the 395US or 570 CDN to downgrade to car mirrors...

i had a loaner the other week that had regular mirrors, could not see shit out of them

I find the convex mirrors have totally eliminated any blindspots. Plus I can better see how close I am to the corner while turning. My only complaint is they squeak every time they fold/unfold.

I also considered the clip on mirrors. I saw people complaining about scratching on the OEM mirrors and I didn't want to take a chance.

To anyone that added the tow mirrors, did you have a problem with your pro hitch assist not working afterwards?

I have noticed any issues with the Pro Trailer assist. My clip on tow mirrors do not cover the 360 cameras. I will keep an eye on it though.

I should probably clarify I use the blind spot system to ensure I'm clear of anything I'm passing. Not really to see things in my blind spot.
