The Rockford Fosgate 5x750W amp has been amazing for me. Mine fit well under the driver's seat.

Have had them for a hot minute. Got them a couple months ago but was waiting for weather to warm up to do the swap. I’ll probably do it later this next week. I also got some dynomat stuff to put in the doors. I’ll report once I get them in. I gotta imagine they will be better than the stock paper crap. Plus the rear door speakers are 2 way with a built in tweeter so that should help the rear area with better sound.

Installed these the other day. Decent upgrade in sound from both high and low ends. Not completely satisfied with the sound yet, thinking of adding Kit 16 from plugnplay and trying to get clarification that it will amplify the door speakers as well.

I just put in that kit from plugnplay last week. It was a very easy install, takes about 1-2 hours. I teamed it with Focal 6x9 components in the front doors and Focal 6 1/2" coaxials in the rears and it sounds awesome. Only negative, and it's very minor, is that I wish the sub had a little more ummph to it. Otherwise I'd recommend it.

So in forscan for the acm there is like 12 EQ settings. Do any of you guys know what those others might do? I tried a few others and really did not notice much. Also is there a setting to turn on the “ occupancy mode” ? I have the base system and in a couple fast fusions we have had also with base systems we had the choice in that mode for driver, all seats etc. have they just removed that all together?

While Fords speakers are very cheap - even those in the B&O system (they are still paper crap) if you are working with the unamplified system and looking at replacing the speakers, I think you'd truly want to need to add an amp of sorts to get any real improvement from it. Adding a powered sub without an amp for those door speakers, I would think your bass would end up really overpowering them.

If you are going to the time and expense of adding some sound deadening to the door, you'll want an amp on those speakers for sure.

Got got these. Plug and play. And not expensive. Have not put them in yet as I was waiting for it to warm up a bit. Also going to dyno-mat the doors while panels are off.

Powerbass OE69C-FD 6x9 OEM... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DWHP1RM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

PowerBass OE652-FD - 6.5" Ford... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DWF9DX1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Check the adapters carefully. I have front doors only (and the pillar tweeter), however one tweeter adapter came damaged. I went to PowerBass directly because the package looked OEM sealed, and I was confident it wasn't the retailer's fault. Powerbass blew me off including telling me they did not offer this adapter by itself and that I could just cut the wires and use different aftermarket connectors, so I just returned the kit for another.

Good to know. I’ll check mine. Question did your tweeters come with adapters to plug in to the factory plugs from truck. Mine did not.

Yes, mine did. You are looking at the adapter that plugs into the factory connector, the flying leads go to the PB tweeter.

Check under the speakers for your hardware. You'll likely have a hardware bag stuck to the magnet - you won't need the bent steel brackets inside it. For the install, you'll pop out your factory tweeters from the A-pillar, then insert the PB tweeters to the OEM location while fishing your electrical through. It was nearly idiot-proof for me.

Idiot proof. Goes to show you don’t know me well. ??? I’ll have to recheck all my shit and see if all the stuff is there. I’ll check it all tomorrow.

I've only tried the 0 EQ setting since that gets a flat signal out to all speakers.

Note that if you do this, I recommend changing the chimes to Dash output (or they will be super loud through speakers), and also changing the center dash speaker output to "tweeter only". Happy tinkering.

They Dayton 3.5" 8 ohm speaker off amazon is a good replacement for the center dash if you do the forscan changes Ive noted in my previous posts (flat signal and tweeter only). Otherwise that speaker isn't really used much for music based on my testing.
