Sidewall cracks

23 Powerboost with 12K miles bought off the lot in April 24'

. Three of the 4 tires have this sidewall cracking happening. I always keep the pressures correct and the truck resides in Northern CA. Is this a warranty issue or just normal tire aging?

I don’t think it would be covered under warranty but doesn’t hurt to ask. Unless you have a warranty on them.

I had Pirelli Scorpions on my 2018 Limited and they cracked with 15,000 miles on them.
The OEM tires don’t hold up.

I am just curious the build date on the tires. I know they probably sit around awhile before getting installed on new cars.

1723 is the date. So mid April. I got the truck in April of 24. I have an appointment on Tuesday for the axle bolt recall so I will put it in their hands.

Usually you don’t see tire cracking in tires this young. I would probably have a tire shop look at them. I can’t answer about warranty coverage.

Are they Pirelli’d?
I had them on a 18 Limited and they were cracking on the sidewall after 24 months

Dealer just said they would contact Pirelli for the warranty but it would be prorated and probably not worth it.

Pro-rated is better than nothing but I’d push hard on warranty.
I’d be very careful going on the highway with those cracks on your tires!

Too much torque from the powerboost is warping the tires under hard acceleration.
