Only showing the BCM and an APIM update. Please remove the VIN from your post. Can anyone check FDRS for VIN:
Thanks in advance.
-Welcome to the forum. This truck has the APIM replaced in May and it seems to have been programmed correctly. The reason those you don't have bluecruise or full-screen capability is because the software on the truck is very out of date....it has nothing to do with that code. Connectivity does seem to be working, but the older updated this truck needs are rarely pushed out by the servers. As far behind as you are, I would recommend you invest in the tools needed to update it yourself and get everything working.I would really appreciate if someone could check this VIN please.
I spoke with Ford Software Update support and they gave me a case number stating there appears to be an issue with communication between the BCM and APIM. Connected functions work, but no software updates so no BlueCruise or recent Sync 4 updates like Full-Screen. Sync 4 about says it's currently on 22177_PRODUCT Rev. 473.
Thanks
I don't even need to run the VIN to check. Sync 23159 is two versions behind the latest one, so for sure you have updates pending. The problem is Ford's OTA process is slow, unreliable and unpredictable. If you're able to set up FordPass, then your connectivity is working and your truck is fine.Request vin
DESPERATELY waiting for sync update... This truck has drained its battery ever since I got it...
Dealer on the phone says my truck has updates but needs to come in for them. Any truth?
Can you run my VIN? I haven't had an update on my 21 for months now and I am getting the frequent phantom updates. They've replaced the APIM, 2 batteries, and reprogrammed the "brain" module due to 2 codes being seen.I, for one, think this is a GREAT idea.
When you ask for a VIN check, please specify if you are looking for OTA updates, or if you need to see what specific modules have updates pending on FDRS.
I'll look into that tomorrow, but you'll still get the ipma update even if you don't have BC.Yeah I mean a couple weeks ago I got a Bluecruise update....... I don't have Bluecruise. -_-
I didn't think I put my VIN in here...I just DM'd it to you.I'll look into that tomorrow, but you'll still get the ipma update even if you don't have BC.
Edit: Surprised you got that OTA considering how far behind you are with the other modules, tbh.
@Nightranger4x4 @Flyinglemi
I will gladly check the your trucks out, but please remove the VIN from the thread and message it to me.
I am able to use FordPass and connected maps so that makes sense.Welcome to the forum. This truck has the APIM replaced in May and it seems to have been programmed correctly. Your truck is on Sync 23291 which is one version behind the latest one. Pending updates are below. Once you receive the GWM update you see there, it will release an update for your APIM that will bring you up to the latest version. Seems like this truck has been updated frequently with FDRS by the dealer. The more updates they do, the less you will receive. I see nothing wrong with your truck. Can you run my VIN? I haven't had an update on my 21 for months now and I am getting the frequent phantom updates. They've replaced the APIM, 2 batteries, and reprogrammed the "brain" module due to 2 codes being seen.
Your truck is on the latest Sync version and pending updates are below. You are not behind at all.I didn't think I put my VIN in here...I just DM'd it to you.
Appreciate the response!
I'll gladly check, but please remove the VIN from your post.I have a 22 powerboost. Wondering if i have any updates for my Truck
Thank you
