I don't have a name, but whoever it is, he or she is a grade-A asshole for deactivating my account and that of another very helpful member some months ago. All we're doing is what they can't or don't want to do and provide actual help and insight to their customer base, but I digress.

No good deed shall go unpunished or something along those lines.

Pretty wild that I learn my DSP and ACM modules are a software update away from an improved audio system while out of country, just to learn the super helpful forum member who can help me is also out of country.

New to me 2022 F150. Trying to figure out pending OTA updates, especially BC 1.4, and determine available FDRS module updates for stereo improvement and other major upgrades. Thanks!

Can you please run my VIN 1FTFW1E50MFA34297. Curious to see where the updates are currently. More importantly, will that show any thrown codes? Engine light came on yesterday. Kind of a clunk when I came to a stop. If I had to say what it is doing, making odd exhaust note at times and no ass in the higher gears.

With @rugedraw away, can someone else run my VIN today and let me know what I'm missing. I did a few updates and I have today left on my FDRS license. BlueCruise has been trying to update via OTA and failing, even with the battery hooked up. I charged it up, waited until charged, then switches to power supply mode and told the update to happen now. Got the 2 min countdown and got out as instructed. Keep failing.

When I look for the update in FDRS, I'm not seeing it and the one update I do see that's BC related, tells me that my truck does not qualify. Meanwhile I've been using the older version of BC. I'd like to enjoy the remaining 1.5yrs I have left on my '23 Platinum's BS service.

I also plan to go get a new H8 battery since the current one seems to be what everyone complains about regularly here.

If you still have FDRS, select the "Rerun Network Test" button and then select the "SW Updates" tab. This will show any pending updates available for the truck. Some updates do not clear even when ran multiple times and should be ignored.

Those 3 above don't go away. Got tired of running them.

THe message was in FDRS, for one of the BlueCruise options. It was probably not necessary but I tried it anyway. I didn't get a pic of it but I can this evening.
