I messed up and didn't mean to include the VIN in my screenshots. I'll delete them now. It's not the 20 year old kid that ran the @Ford Motor Company account that I'm concerned about. There are others I know for a fact are still lurking. So now that Ford isnt monitoring the forums are we allowed to post Vins or is that frowned upon still?
Thank you for taking the time to help out.I'll gladly check, but please remove the VIN from your post.
Truck is on Sync 22294 which is pretty old at this point. Modules with pending updates are below. Connectivity seems to be working fine.....hard to say why this truck has fallen so far behind, but it is a bit behind.
You can't force an OTA to be sent to your vehicle, and you can't force the dealer to update the truck, either. Ford does not pay dealer to update modules just because they are out of date. The dealer will only perform updates as part of a recall or if there is a problem that an update will fix. You can ask them, but I would keep my expectations low.Thank you for taking the time to help out.
You know any tricks I can do to try to force the updates to come through? Or would I have to take it to the dealer to get the updateded?

@Nightranger4x4 Please delete the pic from my quote.
I don't have a name, but whoever it is, he or she is a grade-A asshole for deactivating my account and that of another very helpful member some months ago. All we're doing is what they can't or don't want to do and provide actual help and insight to their customer base, but I digress. Now I want to know who is watching.
My dealership was not happy finding out someone was looking behind the scenes and helping me call them out on their lies. Only reason my truck is halfway fixed is your continual ability to look up details on trucks and share it. I and everyone else appreciates your constant help and keeping dealerships a little more honest.I don't have a name, but whoever it is, he or she is a grade-A asshole for deactivating my account and that of another very helpful member some months ago. I apologize....down where? Im new to all this stuff and not very confident when it comes to thisYour truck is on Sync 23291 which is one version behind the latest one. Pending updates are below. Once you receive the GWM update you see there, it will release an update for your APIM that will bring you up to the latest version. Seems like this truck has been updated frequently with FDRS by the dealer. The more updates they do, the less you will receive. I see nothing wrong with your truck.
Your truck is on the latest Sync version and pending updates are below. You are not behind at all.
I had deleted it because I forgot to edit out the VIN. Here you go.I apologize....down where? Im new to all this stuff and not very confident when it comes to this
Thank you for looking at it btw.
You mean China and the Rooskies aren't trying to cut that cable up, too?Delayed?
TCP/IP packets can travel trans-Pacific in a few thousanths of a second. We'll never even notice. ?
Now that aircraft flight?
Not so fast.
We WILL notice that delay.
Have fun good sir

Hope you have a safe trip and a well deserved break !Figured I'd post this here is an FYI:
I will be going to Japan for two weeks and the flight departs early tomorrow morning. I will have very limited access to anything while I am away. VIN checks will have to wait a while. I'm taking my laptop with me, but response times will be delayed.
