Is there anything else to be done with these or just wait for the OTA to kick in? Oddly I received this email from Ford yesterday so maybe they are starting to roll out:

That is an email telling you you signed up for Ford marketing spam. Nothing to do with updates. You'll probably want to unsubscribe that unless you are fishing for a PCO.

Do the OTA updates have a potential of overwriting forscan settings back to stock that I modified, such as tire size to correct the speedometer?

I have only done bambi lights and changed the headlight switch to remain in last state.. but so far with all the modules updates i have done I've never had my forscan modes revert back to as built..

PTS is back.

Hello! Just acquired a 2021 F150 Lariat and Ford made a comment when I was calling to troubleshoot missing Bluecruise that it hasn't updated since last fall. Can you check and see if anything is stuck in terms of general updates? VIN: 1FTFW1E84MKD32949

I had it in the dealer last Friday (3/15) to perform the 21G01 bulletin to do the Bluecruise module programming. After they performed it, the option for adaptive cruise control with hands-free shows up, but it still doesn't activate when driving on a bluecruise interstate. I'm unable to even see Bluecruise as an option on the FordPass app in connected services. Is there anything stuck or missing for this to be active as well?
No updates sent since September. You're waiting for your VIN to be added to the OTA roll-out plan for the 6.x.x updates as are many other vehicles that stopped after the 4.x.x updates. With that said, that has nothing to do with your BC not working. Stand by while I look into that further.

Here’s my vin I think I’m up to date
Your OTA history is clean and extensive. As far as power-up updates go, you are up to date.

Trying to figure out if my updates have gotten me up to date as the software updates page on the truck still says 4.3.3 was installed successfully.

Any chance I can get a lookup?

That was the last update you got. Before that, your truck was getting the old 2.x.x updates sent to it. Vehicle history shows FDRS was used to update several modules. It is difficult to say where you are in the OTA process right now because the updates the dealer did means there are certain OTA's you will no longer get. Your truck is on Sync 23159 which is only one version behind the latest, so nothing to worry about in your case.

I am missing a lot of things.... hair, mind, Oh right.. the VIN. Sorry. Dropped the L. 2LMPJ8K98PBL28412 Supposed to have Alexa enabled along with "enhanced voice recognition" but the demo car Sync level was early 23. Nope. Mama wants a specific color/interior combo so coming from Dallas dealer down to Austin. Trying to decide if I should have them FDRS to update/enable before I sign.. or just FDRS it myself.
No OTA's have been recorded being sent to this truck. It is on Sync 23045 which is the same Sync version it left the factory with when it was built on 12/23. I don't think this is due to the truck having any kind of OTA related problems. Just looks like this VIN has not been added to the OTA roll-out schedule yet.

@germanace90 Your case is not an easy one to address. Your dealer did everything they could to get your situation fixed. The problem is on Ford's side and not with your truck. Your vehicle is one of many affected by an issue where the next update you need to get the missing IPC update needed for BC to work is not showing for you on Ford's servers. Like I said: You are not alone on this. There is nothing your dealer can do other than open a ticket with Ford engineers so they can look into your truck, figure out you're missing a GWM update that is needed for the rest of the updates to release, and engineering needs to release that update for your vehicle on the server side. This has been going on for a while and it is assumed that Ford knows of the issue and is hopefully working on it.

Thanks a lot for the in-depth research! That's disappointing that it's a simple update that's keeping BC from working. When this gets corrected (or maybe if...), do you think the truck will receive those other 6.x.x updates also? Onto the next phase, let's see if Ford will help out.

Once that update gets released and you get it, it will allow the rest to be released and you will eventually get them. Your dealer didn't seem to mind performing updates on the truck....they did a lot of them. The problem you are going to have is convincing your dealer that there is a problem to begin with, at this issue is not something that Ford dealer-level employees are aware of.

They did make a comment they were open to feedback if we find out why it failed the driving test for BC. So fingers crossed making them aware of this larger issue above their level will get a response. You're right though, I feel like I was lucky with the work they did so far since it sounds like others are pulling teeth to get the dealer to help them with the software side of things.

If they are willing to listen, tell them they need to open a ticket with engineering and tell them your truck's GWM is at the -LKB version which is not the latest and FDRS is not showing a GWM update for you. Ford engineering needs to release the next GWM to your vehicle on the server side so that your dealer can install it. Once they install that GWM and do a network scan, another update will pop up....it could be an APIM, TCU or maybe another GWM. They need to do that update and the next one until an IPC update shows up. Once they do that IPC update, your BC will work. The IPC update is what you need for BC to work, but because these updates have to be installed in a sequential order, the IPC update will not show until the GWM and a few others are installed first.

Or, get yourself a Mongoose and we can help you fix it yourself.

would you please pull my VIN again. The dealership was supposed to process a few updates while they had the truck this week. I'm curious if they did.
