Request VIN lookup please software update stuck as I believe as I've read on the forum 1FTFW1E53MFB80774. Thank you in advance this is my first new to me forward and 10 plus years. Image attached.
Last OTA was 3.5.3 in September. You do have several pending updates, but nothing that will give you anything new you will notice. If your truck is working and driving fine, I would not be worried about it.

I'm surprised there hasn't been at least some fellas raving about the obvious improvements in non-BC Lane Centering, both the new Centerpoint itself, as well as the ability to stay engaged in conditions it couldn't before.

I am waiting to pile on to such a post.
(I hesitate starting threads. I'm already accused of being a Ford plant on the forum. ?)

Last OTA was 3.5.3 in September. You do have several pending updates, but nothing that will give you anything new you will notice. If your truck is working and driving fine, I would not be worried about it.
Thank you very much I have to go to the dealer within the next week or two to get another key when I bought this vehicle I only had one key so I thought about asking him to check the software updates there I don't know if that's something that they'll do automatically or not but I assume they'll charge for it

Thank you very much I have to go to the dealer within the next week or two to get another key when I bought this vehicle I only had one key so I thought about asking him to check the software updates there I don't know if that's something that they'll do automatically or not but I assume they'll charge for it
Ford does not pay them to update modules, so they will say it is up to date or make up some excuse. The hours it takes to fully update a truck are not worth paying a dealer for. You're better of buying a Mongoose and doing it yourself. It will be cheaper than paying the dealer, and you will future-proof yourself from the garbage OTA process.

Last OTA you got was 4.2.4 in October. List of modules pending updates are below. No APIM, GWM or TCU updates are showing for you and you are not on the latest Sync version. Not good. There are issues on Ford's side right now that are most likely causing this. I would not stress it for the time being. Your truck is far along the OTA process where you aren't missing anything significant.

Product Revision 915
I also had my APIM & GWM modules replaced last year. Not sure that affects the missing updates.
Can’t remember if the TCU was replaced as well or updated.

@ZamoJoe Latest Sync is 23291.

I just spent a good amount of time digging through your truck's history. The tech that worked on your truck in the middle of last year went to town trying to fix your truck. Kudos to him or her for maximum effort. I see a proper PMI was done that coincides with a GWM replacement. Warranty history says your APIM was replaced and the Sync tab in PTS shows two APIM serial numbers which means they did swap the APIM, but I see no history of an APIM PMI procedure being done. However, your OTA dashboard shows a successful APIM update in September which is after your APIM replacement.

Honestly, I'm stumped. I recommend you message @Jesse-Infotainment with your VIN to check for any config issues.

Thanks to jesse-infotainment.4271 for running my vin and seeing I have a DTC or Ethernet cable issue that appears to be my problem. After weeks there and tec working with Ford trying everting and updating everything all modules, the problem was an ethernet cable not ever plugged in. Jessie was right from the start with that cable. Now Hands FREE finally. Jessie is the best and we are all lucky to have him helping us all out. PS had a new H7 battery install at the dealer while there since Jessie saw some battery issues also.

So fast forward, can I please get a vin check on my OTA's. I received 1 when at the dealer 6.4.0
So that's the last I show. Since they updated everything they could I was wondering is it possible, I'm on 6.8.0 now? Would really appreciate it.

Yes my bad 6.5.0 was the last one at the dealer. So I guess they didn't update me to date. Hopefully nothing they did will affect my updates since they seemed to be pretty regular. Thank you Rugedraw for the information really appreciate your help and time.
