Pretty sure I'm going to freeze to death updating stuff using FDRS tonight. You are suppose to die from the heat in Texas, not the cold!

I have my reasons for not using FDRS this time of year.

We had that garbage here 2 days ago and I hate it! I can't wait until it's 98 degree every day and the low is 80+ degrees.

Reference TSB 24-2008 for SSN issue. First time I took the truck in, nothing was done and I was told that they were seeing a lot of modules having issues, which didn't make sense to them. They wondered if there was an issue with a common bus between them, called Ford for support. Ford never got back to them. I finally contacted the dealership owner and he scheduled the truck to come back in. This time after having it in the shop for a day, I was told that a module was updated and all is well, also that there are no open TSB, CSB, or Oasis open items now. Nothing about a bunch of modules failing. I am a tad skeptical over "all is well," but I am also the paranoid type. Can someone tamp down my paranoia?

You can get the limited non-dealer version cheaper than FDRS. See wiring diagrams, your truck OTA status, etc. Everything you click on is logged to the VIN just as everything anyone else does with it.

@Paul Neubauer guys, the non dealer version of PTS is not as full featured as the dealer version rugedraw uses. The last time I purchased a 72 hour subscription for $20 it was very disappointing as it no longer even shows the OTA dashboard that it did previously. Let me know if you have different findings, but the whole thing seems to have been castrated.

That's disappointing. I want to see everything my truck is reporting to Ford.

Ok, so for the hell of it I just pissed away (NOW 26.00 bucks) for 72 hour subscription. NO PTS DASHBOARD,! A complete waste of money.

I have the OTA dashboard in mine. You need to authorize your truck first to see it. The steps to do that are on the Vehicle ID screen. You will get a code emailed to you to confirm.

Fun things under TSB/GSB/SSM tab.

SSM 52134 'full view not available" is operating as intended. Lucky we have Forscan. ?

TSB 23-2416 to fix the camera button not working at all outside of reverse, seen several people complaining about that after I think 6.5.0 broke it.
