i have a charger / maintainer. What do you recommend i do to charge the battery? Red with red. Black with black? 2Amp? Etc. also how to I reset BMS on 2021 power boost f150exactly? And when do I do it exactly

fyi. My batter had 69% charge

With a 2amp charger, it will take a long time to charge it 100%. Personally, I do red on red, and the negative I ground to the chassis. You got do it on the battery, but make sure you attached it after the BMS sensor and not before it.

BMS reset procedure is below:



Again: Do not reset the BMS until you are sure the battery is at 100% SoC.

That's a 20amp charger....same one I have. OUP is over-voltage protection; not sure why it is showing that. Try moving the terminals around a bit. Where you have the negative attached is after the BMS, so that is fine. Also, you have it set to 2amp. Press the "3" button to change it to 10amp for a faster charge.

In your case, the OTA failed failed. You have to wait for it to be resent. It did not fail due to battery issues, so none of this is anything you need to worry about right now. Having a fully charged battery is never a bad thing, but there is nothing you can do about the update that failed for you recently other than wait for it to be resent.

To clear OUP you need to unplug it and disconnect it. Let it power down completely. Then reconnect it and plug it back in. Hit the rate button until it reads 20A and hit start.

Nope, nothing. Very strange. Meanwhile I had a failed OTA 4 days ago and nothing on my screen and nothing in Fordpass. I've seen a lot of people mention these weird update messages, but it is usually after an update. In your case that you haven't seen anything since August, it's extra strange. Post a pic of it when you can. I'm just curious at this point.

All I show is the symbol on the top line of the center screen and XXXXXPPO-SI as complete under software updates.

Last OTA you got was 6.4.0 and that was 9 days ago. You are only a few behind the latest; nothing to be concerned about.

Your not going to have to do the can bus update. The USB method will work this time around. Ford has fixed the update issue with the IPC
