There is something going on with your truck. You have had GWM update 3.5.2 sent to you many times this year and it continues to fail to install. I don't know why it is happening, but this is not normal. This particular OTA historically has a very high success rate. I would recommend taking it to your dealer and telling them you've had the same update fail for 10 months straight. Once they pull your OTA dashboard and see this, it shouldn't be difficult to get them to apply the update for you and/or diagnose the issue.

Once the GWM update that keeps failing on your truck is done, an APIM update will appear on this list that is the equivalent to 3.5.3. That is the update that will give you full-screen carplay/android auto.

Thanks so much! Can I presume that there have been no issues since they replaced the GWM and these SHOULD go via OTA without intervention?

I have the connected navigation and from what I can decipher, the date information from the “About” looks like a 2022 update. If it was outdated, would it show in the list y shared above?

WACM is not available via OTA process. Not sure if the HVAC is or not, but the other 3 are updateable via OTA.

PTS shows your Sync version is 23186 which I believe is the newest one for Super Duties. Vehicle history shows the dealer did an APIM update after the installed the new GWM, so the main modules on your truck are fully updated. The DDM/PDM updates are to "improve the heated mirror function" and the BCM update there I assume is part of the OTA that reads "A few modifications were made to help improve the illuminated malfunction indicator lamps." I would not stress about those updates still being pending. You aren't missing out on anything.

I see they replaced the APIM on 10/18 and performed the PMI, so I am inclined to say they did it correctly. However, it does seem like your truck has synced up with Ford since then and all your Sync data is blank on Ford's servers, so I am limited as to what I can see in your case. Post of a pic of your "about sync" screen. For some reason, your truck does not show the 21G01 campaign for bluecruise programming tied to its VIN.

Long story short - I bought a new to me 2021 F150 Lariat PowerBoost last weekend and have been struggling to get the vehicle to show up in FordPass or to update at all. After a myriad of failings with FordPass, FordPass Guides, and a dealer, I decided to search the web and found this site .

Currently running 20312_PRODUCT Revision 243 so this hasn't been updated in a very long time.

I am ready to buy the Mongoose cable and do this myself but I want to make sure there are updates and nothing else is actually wrong.

Welcome.....you came to the right place. Your truck is on Sync 20301 which is old software known to break the update process. Your truck does not seem to have ever recorded an OTA. Before I recommend anything: Are you able to set an auto-update schedule, or is the button grayed out?
