Welcome.....you came to the right place. Your truck is on Sync 20301 which is old software known to break the update process. Your truck does not seem to have ever recorded an OTA. Before I recommend anything: Are you able to set an auto-update schedule, or is the button grayed out?
I can set the update schedule, which I have done a few dozen times. Been through a number of FordPass resets, Master resets, lights off, etc.

That's actually very good news. If that is the case, you may and should be able to update the truck yourself and get it out of it's current state without going on the mission of plugging in directly to the APIM via a series of USB cables. In your case, I would recommend you going the Mongoose route. Even if you cannot get it out of its current state now and you have to take the dealership route to get it out of OTA purgatory, the dealer will only do what it needed to get you out of there and leave your truck out of date. At that point, you will be able to do the rest yourself. Either way, be prepared for an entire weekend worth of module programing to get you up to speed.

As far as you not being able to connect to Fordpass: That seems to be an entirely different issue. I have checked numerous trucks on that software that can connect to Fordpass. The first thing I would try is unplugging the TCU overnight and plugging it back in the next day to force a hard reset on it. See the thread below for more info:

If you have FORscan, you can just reset the TCU and GWM using that and it will yield the same result as unplugging it overnight.

I see they replaced the APIM on 10/18 and performed the PMI, so I am inclined to say they did it correctly. However, it does seem like your truck has synced up with Ford since then and all your Sync data is blank on Ford's servers, so I am limited as to what I can see in your case. Post of a pic of your "about sync" screen. For some reason, your truck does not show the 21G01 campaign for bluecruise programming tied to its VIN.

Based on your Sync version, you should have bluecruise. Does your odometer show a decimal point in the mileage? Example 12345 miles or 12345.6 miles?

Did bluecruise work before and no it doesn't, or it has never worked?

lol I hadn't noticed that. It depends on his response. If he never had BC activated, the free trial should have started.

@Kanuck My truck is doing the same as yours, but the opposite. My touchscreen says the PCM update went through, but PTS says it failed. Go figure.

It would show it in vehicle history, but not in the OTA dashboard.

FDRS supersedes OTA. If you installed it via FDRS and the OTA trigger was created for your truck before your truck synced up with Ford, then the OTA will fail because your truck already has the update being sent to it.

You can ignore that. Eventually, it will just say the truck is up to date. Just checked your truck in FDRS and it only shows an ACM update pending, so you're good.

You can ignore that. Eventually, it will just say the truck is up to date. Just checked your truck in FDRS and it only shows an ACM update pending, so you're good.

my odometer shows decimals like 12345.6

Hands free blue cruise is being never worked.

do you think doing the investment with the cable and the FDRS license I’m be able to do some updates to make this work? Or I have no hope until find a dealer be able to do it?
