Thank you for checking! I’m trying to decide if it’s worth taking to the dealer (who told me that it had been updated) or simply take the plunge and order a Mongoose.

Get the mongoose. Then you always have the option to do your own updates as needed. Might also look into the vcx nano as I believe they may have one that is compatible with FDRS. The UCDS dongle will also work and give you a lot of programming capabilities.

You are pretty far behind. The past OTA you were sent was 2.7.3 back on 12/5, and it failed an hour after the OTA trigger was created. The error code listed is:

"ecuId":"1824"

I have no idea what that means.

The thing, Ford doesn't pay dealers to update modules. There would have to be some kind of customer complaint that would allow them to bill Ford for labor hours. You can't just walk in there and ask them to update your truck. At the point your truck is, it will take them hours upon hours to get you up to date. you can try, but expect the runaround.

You had an apim OTA attempt last month but it never ran to completion. Still shows in FDRS so it will likely retry OTA at some point or you could do your self
