Not all modules can be updated via OTA. APIM's have been pushed in the past, but are slow to be rolled out Ford.

I’d appreciate if anyone is able to see if my truck has any pending OTA updates. The automatic update option has been locked off since March of 22. I’ve been to 2 different dealers 6 times to have this fixed and I keep getting the run around. I brought my truck to the dealer this week and they said it was up to date but the auto update option is still locked in the off position.
My vin is 1FTFW1E86MKD06501

Wow....your truck is very behind on updates. You had 1.4.0 sent to you several times in October and November, but it kept failing. It finally ween through 2 days ago. You may be behind, but the fact you are getting update is good.

No OTA history and you are on a very old Sync version. Whatever dealer you took it to at the end of October tried to update your APIM and it failed. They then tried to perform and module repair procedure on it several times but that failed, too. There is a note in there that indicates they called the Ford hotline and got a manual repair code from them. It is also listed in your VIN history that your truck was diagnosed with OTA failure issues and the parts were ordered which I assume is the APIM. You need to follow up with your service advisor to see if the APIM is there and have them swap it out.

Could I get a status on my OTA. Have had the same story as others, multiple trips to dealers, failed update attempts, APIM replacement, etc. Only progress was making the scheduled updates unlocked but no OTAs received since.
