The last OTA you got was back in August of last year. Because it was over 60 days ago, I cannot see the details of the update. Based on your current Sync version, you are well behind on OTA updates. You will need several other updates to be sent to you before you can get the one for the latest Sync. Try resetting your APIM. With the truck on, hold the radio power button and forward seek button for a few seconds until the screen reboots. This does not guarantee anything will happen, but it does not hurt to try. There is no way to force updates to be sent to your truck. Can you please check my VIN? Still haven't received the new Sync OTA.

That's because 2022's were built with Alexa in it already. There is no OTA history on your truck in the past 60 days and no OTA in queue at this time.Could you check my VIN please. Just bought the truck a couple weeks ago. I haven’t seen any updates yet. I did get Alexa since I’ve had it but still no full screen CarPlay.

Not that I am aware of, no. There is no rhyme or reason behind the way they send updates out. It is a waiting game and when you get it sent, then it's hope and pray it downloads and installs. Thanks for the update. I have reset the APIM several times as the Sync system misbehaves and hangs at times. Doing that reset fixes it. Is there any way that FORScan mods can impact OTA?
Very unlikely. Ford does not pay them to update modules. I updated my truck to 3.5.3 this Sunday, and it between the time it take to download the files from Ford's slow servers, create the USB files needed for the update and run the update itself, it took hours. If you can convince them to do it, then more power to you.Well thank you for the helpful information. Looks like I will take it to the dealer for my next service and ask them if they can load the updates for me. Fingers crossed.
Well that doesn't make me optimistic.Very unlikely. Ford does not pay them to update modules. The last OTA sent to your truck was back in April of last year, but it did not seem to install because your sync version is blank in PTS. In the past 60 days, the only thing you have been sent were a few bluecruise map updates which failed to install due to master resets being performed while the OTA's were in your queue. Can someone please check my vin 1FTFW1ED8MFA66373
I have not received any OTA updates in my 21 f150 limited, thanks
You have 2.8.1 sitting in your queue ready to install. It has failed several times due to low battery voltage. This update is a big one and requires your truck to be inhibited for over an hour while it installs. It is imperative that you connect a battery charger to your truck and schedule the update to install in the middle of the night after it has been on the charger for a while. This update was sent to you on 2/7 and it will expire on 2/21 if it does not install, and these older updates to not get sent out very often. If you don't have an AGM battery charger, borrow or buy one ASAP if you do not want to wait months for it be sent to you again.
Glad to hear! I see the DTC for the collision system. I've had my truck throw that code out randomly and then it goes away the next time I drive it. I would not be concerned about that yet.Thank you. The battery charger idea worked. However it broke my collision alert system but whatever. How long do you have to wait to get next round of updates after one installs?
