Ah ok, didn't notice it was a Raptor.

No, Ford does not pay dealers to update modules just because they are out of date. They would only update a module if it fixes a specific problem or as part of a recall.

I know probably wrong section in the forum but can I connect to FDRS now that I swapped my original apim 8 back in my truck. I left the 12 inch screen in I'm hoping I can update it on fdrs and maybe It won't be so glitchy before I spend over 1k on a new apim from infotainment.

I'll message you, but yea, fdrs is fine if the original apim is back in.

I have a 2021 F-150 which has had a phantom battery drain since delivery. The dealership says they have tried many software updates but it hasn't solved the problem. I'd be very interested to know specifically what's been done. VIN #1FTFW1E53MKE28075

Thank for all the help and guides everyone. Got my F150 and Explorer updated today. I even had a TCU update pop up that wasn’t on my original list. USB update went exactly per the instructions.

Prompted me to run a bcm procedure from the other menu when I tried to run the bcm software update on the explorer. Did its thing for a while and updated something, I guess.

Could someone look mine up? Had the APIM replaced 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive an OTA update. Truck stays connected to wifi when parked in the driveway. I decided to replace the battery today and also bought a battery maintainer to plug in at nights in hopes that will check all the boxes for the conditions it needs to update. VIN is 1FTFW1E82MFA92244 Software Version: 21146_Product Revision 145

Would love to know what my truck is needing updates on. Just recently purchased this 2023 powerboost and I can't get it to do anything when I hit update. Connected to wifi but just spins the circle around and says getting latest software update status.

I'm the one that checked your truck on F150 Facebook group. Sync 21146 is software from the 146th day of 2021. Your truck is fixed and can not get updates, but on vehicles, the updates are not like our phones where you can just install an update whenever it is available. The server's from Ford will push it out randomly and there is no way to tell when you will get the first one sent to you. There is also no way to speed up the OTA process.

Check my signature for the mongoose loaner thread and lmk if you want me to add you to the waiting list to borrow one of mine. The cable needed to update the truck is about $600 unless you can find a used one for about $400. No experience is needed. We will help you do it as we have for countless others in both worse and better situations than you are in.

VIN is for a 2022. OTA history show the last OTA received was 10.1.1 which is one of the more recent ones. The only major update you're missing is the IPMA one that gives you improved driver assist features. Aside from that, truck is pretty much up to date except for a few minor modules like the door modules, HVAC, BCM and trailer module. Nothing to worry about here.

For the spinning circle when you check for updates, disconnect the negative battery cable from your 12v and leave it disconnected for 20 minutes. Check again after you reconnect the battery.

Got it. Please remove your VIN from the request. Truck is on Sync 23291 which is only one version behind the latest one. Modules with pending updates are below.

When you ask for a VIN check, please specify if you are looking for OTA updates, or if you need to see what specific modules have updates pending on FDRS.

I would appreciate an OTA updates check for my 2021 Platinum, VIN 1FTFW1E86MFA80839. In May of last year, I took it in and said I haven't had an OTA in nearly two years so fix this. They replaced the APIM, and did a bunch of updates. (3 days in the shop.). I haven't had an OTA update since last June, and I really want to get BlueCruise 1.4 since it seems to be available, so I'll probably have to take it back in and get caught up again.

What Sync version does your truck say it is on in your "about sync" screen? It's a 5 digit number that starts with a 2.

That's a pretty old version at this point. However, looking at what the dealer did on 5/14 when your new APIM was put in, they seem to have programmed it correctly. Your connectivity is working fine and you do show an APIM update pending. Your truck is not reporting any codes of concern and everything seems fine. Looks like just crappy luck with the OTA process to me.
