Ah ok. I've noticed that the truck somehow lowers the bass by itself when I raise the volume. It's like if the DSP somehow knows there is more bass than there is supposed to be and tones it down. I find it very annoying. I think I may just pay the stupid $50 for a 2 day FDRS pass and apply the update to see if it helps with that.

Here's the list of available updates:

I think that APIM update is what you're looking for. Should show up as an OTA if it's in your software list now.

The other updates, not so much.

Sorry for the newbie question, but does the OTA updates for the APIM come through randomly and the FDRS would allow you to apply this (and any others..) update manually?

I have my truck setup to apply/check for updates daily and connected to WiFi.

Oh, sweeeeeet! Thanks! I just mailed out my Mongoose to a member so he can update his truck, but as soon as I get it back, I am trying this.

Got it. That update didn't pop up for me, but another member directed me at another thread where I can correct the problem with FORscan. When I get my Mongoose back from the member I loaned it to, I am going to try it out.

No OTA history in the past 60 days, so I don't know if you received 3.5.2 yet, but if you did, 3.5.3 is the next update and that will give you full-screen capability. No OTA in your queue at this time.



No OTA history for the past 60 days and nothing in your queue. You being a 2021 owner, I can't see if you are up to date with the older updates, but based on your current Sync version, I think you are up to date or very close to it.

thanks. I am through 3.5.2. Seems like a lot of updates considering local dealers aren’t able or willing to install.

New here and looking to get info on where my truck is with Power Up version (and any pending push out), as well as all the SW Updates in FDRS still pending download and install.

Been through absolute hell with the dealership (who has had my truck for 33 days now). Long story, but I bought the first '21 Limited delivered to my dealer back in Jan '21. OTA never worked except maybe once (I was one of the many stuck on Power Up 1.6 of whatever it was, due to the APIM issues) and STILL have no BlueCruise b/c Ford issued yet another hold on January 4th keeping dealerships from updating to BlueCruise (something I of course paid extra for and now still waiting on for two years). Apparently has something to do with the IPC not updating?

After I called them out on their lies (that "everything besides the BC had been updated"), they finally did get OTA to work today, and it received an update, but only up to 22-PU0727-VI-FXA. They are now claiming all of the many SW Updates left (they won't even all fit in one screen) in FDRS are all BlueCruise-related and can't be updated (which I call BS on).

Just picked up my truck from the dealer for warranty work. I had asked them to update 4 modules and they said it was completed, but i don't see the version 22293 - Revision 610. They were suppose to update the APIM/BCM/WACM/PCM

Can someone list the updates for my truck, so i could see if they did the updates or not?
