That update failed to install due to a corrupted manifest. It's happened to a few people recently. You can ignore that message.

Since then, I took my truck in for an oil change, recall, and an update. However, when I picked it up they said it was already up-to-date. Can someone tell me if that is true? And, if so, how?

It is not up to date. Dealers do not get paid to do module updates.

Would I be able to get some help on checking how far behind my OTA is?
2021 F150 XLT, VIN: 1FTFW1E89MFA90863
I recall I failed many times installing 4.3.4 "A vehicle with a view" during 2023 June to August time frame, since after that only got 2 OTAs that I can recall, one during late 2023 about "e manual", one recently for "24-PU0223-VI-RBS", looking through the excel list, seems I have missed a ton of OTAs...

No OTA in queue at this time. However, that last one you got is believed to fix an issue where vehicles on Sync 23159 like yours stopped getting updates.

Finally bit the bullet and bought a Supergoose and installed the fdrs but I was wondering how many updates i have and approximately how much time am I to schedule for this.

Bearing no complications and seeing you are on the latest Sync version, this should be able to be knocked out in 7-8 hours.

not bad, I'm going to install the CCM for the ACC so I probably do all the updates after i install the CCM so if there are any updates for it, it can be done.

If your BC doesn't work, the dealer can help you. You have the 21G01 campaign open for Bluecruise programming on your VIN. I would schedule an appt ASAP. If you get the next Sync update that brings your Sync version up to next version, then the 21G01 config program won't work on your truck and it will be more difficult to get it working. The last OTA you got was 4.2.4 back in October, so it is likely that the next update you get will be the one that brings your Sync version up. Without FDRS, there is nothing that will activate BC for you. Your truck was skipped over the update that activated BC as happened to many early 2021 trucks.
As an update, I printed this and took it to the dealership I bought it from (Pegeus Hurst Ford) and they said the BC update listed had expired in December and they would have the newest in early March. I waited until the middle of March to go back and ask what's going on. They said they had to wait until they got trained which would be in April. I went to my local dealership (JO Williams Ford) and they said the same, with training scheduled for the first week of April. Still being patient, I waited until last week to go back to JO's and he said the training wasn't really a training. It was just a ride along for the GM, but they could do the update for me but Ford would no longer do it for free and they would have to charge me the hourly shop rate which could be up to 16 hours or as little as 4. I reached out to my salesman (Pegeus) who called his service manager and he said they are still not trained or ready to do the update, but they would still do it free once they could. But it could be months or not at all.

So having said all of that, any suggestions? The salesman suggested I let him go into the settings and basically reset it so it would start (maybe) pulling in OTA updates. I fear that might screw it up and I can't get the BC update that is still listed in my Ford Pass app under Customer Service Program - Campaign #21G01. Any thoughts on that option since these dealerships are not being much help? Or are they shooting me straight and Ford just doesn't have its act together? I don't have any tunes or anything like that, so I am not concerned with losing anything in a reset.

Any advice would be appreciated.

21G01 was on hold, but it was resumed a few days ago on 5/7. 21G01 is really not that difficult, IMO/. Not sure what to tell you other than that.
