Thank you for checking. For the record, Blue Cruise works but will drop out most of the time when I pass an exit and I'm in the right hand lane; when it doesn't like the looks of a curve coming up; and most bridges!
I hope a set of directions comes with your FDRS because I haven't the first clue what I'm going to have to do!

No, instructions really are not needed. FDRS literally guides you step-by-step throughout the process. Should you come across an issue where an update doesn't go through, there are plenty of helpful and knowledgeable people on the FDRS thread stickied here where you can post your issue and get help in almost real time.

I did so....did the same updates as you did. Installed 6.3.0 & 6.4.0 yesterday in mine and a buddy's truck.

It won't appear that way. On that list, the CMR and SCCM modules both coincide with BC.

I may be incorrect - but none of these updates look to me (anyways) to be big, long updates. Least wise not the 3 to 4 hour ones. My thinking.

Agreed. The CMR I remember taking 1-2 hours, but the rest of them should be fairly quick.

Thanks! Looks like a few new ones popped up here recently along with latest APIM version. SCCM makes sense since I swapped in my heated one.

@Jesse-Infotainment looks like I have a new DSP version now, I wonder if that is to resolve the awesome pop and chime issue? Could you or someone peer into what version that might be now? Since I backdated my ACM and DSP to the previous version, I really doubt the mothership knows I did that yet so I would imagine this new DSP is to fix the botched one since there is no ACM update to "re-do" what I undid.

My father-in-law is considering a 2021 Ford F-150 XLT. Im nervous he is going to have similar issues that I have had with updates. Can someone check the vin of the truck he is looking at to see if it is in update purgatory? Vin is 1FTEW1EP1MFA19854 Thanks all for your help!

No OTA's in your queue at this time. Did you want me to look in FDRS? If so, I can check later when I get home from work.



This truck is fine as far as OTA's go. It is on Sync 23031. The last OTA it got was in September which failed due to low battery charge, but this truck is well past the OTA hell-hole.
