Yep. Problem is, Ford hasn’t got things straightened out yet. If you get the 1009 update OTA, this BCM update immediately appears in FDRS to reverse it. @Jesse-Infotainment flagged it on Saturday, I think in the ECU programming thread, and said not to apply it. Hmmmm......I follow that thread and I missed that. I'm surprised no one has started a thread warning people not to apply that OTA.

Why would Ford deploy that update is a bigger surprise.

The OTA is fine. It’s the subsequent BCM update that appears in FDRS immediately after the OTA that you shouldn’t apply.

We already have too many programming-related threads.

Would someone mind checking mine again? I've tried everything, even resetting Sync. If it is failing to download, does it give you a reason why? I'm in areas with great cell service, connect to internet at home, have auto updates on, and have updates scheduled every day at like 2am. Here's my VIN:
