Imagine for a second you were a complete cucumber and loaded the Unreal Sync Theme along with climate, seats, steering wheel etc without first doing a back up so you could restore to the factory settings. Also imagine said Unreal is all backwards (home on right, small panel on left of screen rather than right, text in navigation all jumbled (after many restarts). I’ll add that when I first loaded Unreal, the orientation was correct. Also the jumbling in Nav didn’t start until I made changes to APIM 7D0-02-01 to allow text input while in motion. How would one remove these changes without the original values? I can’t find them in the text version of FORScan (the not As Built section) and was far too stupid to write it down. I know…you don’t have to say it. I’m a putz.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That is certainly interesting.

Try getting your as-built from Motorcraft Service?
I think Forscan has an option to grab it within the program.
If you just recently made the changes you might get lucky and be able to pull your original files from the Ford servers.

So unless I'm missing something? I think you could just probably compare notes with another Ford person. I did make a written backup of the Unreal change and also reverted it.
I can get the default number if you want. As for the other changes I have not done them so I would guess my (or other people's) codes are still showing correct in Forscan right?

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Someone else’s original numbers should be the same as what mine were? If you’d share your values prior to the Unreal theme mod, I’d be forever grateful. As you said…the climate stuff etc would have to come from someone else but I believe they only work with the Unreal theme anyway?

Looking at your screen shots, you have an ota in que right now waiting to install. If you're scheduled time comes and installs successfully, on your next ignition cycle. The truck will report back to Ford cloud and do a complete backup of your corrupt as built.
DO AS @fordtruckman2003 says and immediately download your current as built from Fords site before the corrupt version is stored. You'll be screwed

Something very similar to this came up before. The keyboard in motion is incompatible with later APIM versions. Try changing that back first and see if it fixes your problem.

Scroll to the end of this thread for a description of the problem and how to fix it: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...een-while-in-motion-disabled-by-default.9418/

See my post above. Just undo the keyboard in motion. Right now it’s:

APIM: 7D0-03-01 -> 5753 - xxxx - xx--

Change it to 5553.

@Dvcpro13 Load the APIM module in forscan. You will see a button that says "Load Factory AB". Click it then click Write all. It will make the changes for you.
