Yes, the seat foam comes with the air bladders on them already for ventilation.I’m assuming changing the foam and seat covers is it? Do they come perforated for air

No. Seat foams are pretty large in volume though light in weight. There's just not an economical means of shipping such things. I went through a couple sites regarding the parts and shipping estimates were 300-600$. It's cheaper to ship 2 entire seats via freight.so are you selling this stuff? wonder how much work would be involved to add these to a lariat haha
I actually wound up installing the raptor interior in mine, its a vast improvement, but still doesnt quite do it for me. I went to a custom interior shop with my original platinum seats and they're making custom foam/upholstry for both driver and passenger seat cushions (not the backs, just the seatpans). A far cheaper option as well. Will post pics when complete.Hammaman- Do you have part numbers for the raptor foam pieces? Just the fronts. I have a RCSB and I’m looking at seat improvement options.
I would love details when you are done/get a chance.I actually wound up installing the raptor interior in mine, its a vast improvement, but still doesnt quite do it for me. Thats the plan. I truly believe theres a lot of people out there that wish they had a better option for their seats. Whoever runs the ergonomics shop at ford should be fired (if they even have someone who does that). I should be able to take some pics tomorrow.I would love details when you are done/get a chance.

Yeah my previous commuter was a 2015 Audi RS5, and also a Grand cherokee trailhawk (has the SRT seats) both had almost a perfect fit. The only way i can make the ford seats feel comfortable is if i press myself all teh way into the back of the seat, and sit almost vertically, not a posture one can maintain for hours.fantastic!
agree with you 100%. every other vehicle i have ever owned has had more comfortable seats than this truck…and i have owned >20 vehicles and not all of them fords (gasp). lol
Katzkin cooking isn't nearly as useful as factory? I haven't witnessed either, but the OEM cooling is really just recirculated cabin air, right? The katzkin affiliated cooling system is supposed to actually cool the air by something like 7 degrees I think.I've only seen stupidly expensive raptor replacement skins (aftermarket). You should be able to replace lariat leather with the XLT's katzkin (perforated if you have heated /cooled) and the many variations it comes in. Just make sure it's perforated for cooling since they also offer an aftermarket cooling upgrade (nowhere near as useful as factory). I've got new full lariat seats in right now w/ heating / cooling while I build my raptor MCS mod seats that are a mix of my XLT basic frame, all of the parts from a MCS platinum and raptor foam. Not sure if any raptors have put in MCS but I'll have em (no factory option for it).
They could be using peltiers. A lot of manufacturers switched to pulling in air rather than blowing it out. Despite peltiers having a slightly cooler feeling air, they end up dumping quite a bit of heat into the cabin and by extension, into the vehicle's AC system. For each degree cooler the air on the outlet side is, there's at least 2 degrees of warmer air under the seat. I forget their actual efficiency but it's pretty poor. While the seat may feel a little cooler, it gets really warm under the seat. The net vehicle temp is negatively affected.Katzkin cooking isn't nearly as useful as factory?
