Nice links. I did not go for a Lariat because of the black interior. It's just too hot in the South, so I went with a white truck and the Slate interior, and that is boring. The Baja would have been even better.

I am looking to add some ventilated color without being garish.

My entire truck is blacked out and it's never hot. Two things have changed the equation: 1) precooling the truck with the app and 2) nanoceramic window tint. I cannot recommend #2 strongly enough for folks in the South. If your truck is in the sun, the steady state temperature should be about the same as without the nanoceramic tint, but once you start removing heat (via AC and relatively cooler ambient air blowing over the windows), the fact that WAY less IR energy is entering the truck means that it cools down WAY faster.

It came with. I did do an upgraded leather kit which contains quite a bit more actual leather than vinyl. They have different levels of leather content. I would assume they all come with the console lid maybe some are vinyl. I’m not sure cause mine is definitely leather.

My 87 neighbor was scammed by the dealership.

He bought a new 2018 F150 XLT 2x4 and had leather and an ARE tonneau cover installed by the dealer before he took delivery.

When he brought the truck home I walked over for a looksee.

Katzkin leather and a nice color matched ARE cover.

Last year he traded the 2018 in for a 2023 F150 XLT 4x4. He also had the dealer add leather and a retractable bed cover.

I didn't look over the new truck until yesterday. He has slip on leather seat covers and a RC retractable tonneau cover. 2k worth of add-ons that the dealer charged him 4k for. I didn't say anything. At 88 years old, I am glad he is still up and about and telling him he was ripped off isn't going to change anything.

My Clazzios should be in next week.

They are leather covers by road wire. Same as katzkins but they are heavier made.

He went with light gray, I am going with dark gray. I liked the light gray but thought the dark gray would blend into the interior better.

As someone that's done at least a dozen seat rebuilds and made their own custom combo, take advantage of any return policy and do a quality leather. That slipon cover nonsense doesn't belong in your truck.

Finally got the Clazzio rears installed. I paid $614 for the set, that included having F150 embroidered on the front headrests.

I am very impressed with the quality and fit. IMO, this is the best compromise between leather replacements and slip-ons.

These have zippers and Velcro that make the covers look oem.

On the back seats, these are 100% coverage, I cannot see any of the fabric upholstery.

There will be haters that ill tell me that I should have gone with Katzkins, but I may buy a PB F250 if it comes out in 26 or 27 and leather adds no value to an XLT, so I would rather eat $614 vice eating $2500.

I started the passenger front yesterday and finished up this morning. Not too difficult but there is a learning curve to get the cover just right. After a week or so of heating/cooling, I may have to restretch the bottom, but I think/hope it will be ok as is.
