Problems with 3 week old F150 Tremor and service department

Making a post so others could be aware and hopefully get some assistance from @Ford Motor Company

3 week old truck with a bad electronic brake booster. Service ordered them part and while we were waiting for the part had remote start issue where hard idle led to remote start not functioning and tail gate would not open with the truck running.

Took the truck into Sames Ford in Corpus Christi and they installed the new EBB however the programing sent to them by Ford bricked the truck. Been in service 8 days now awaiting new programing from @Ford Motor Company and they have no idea when they will receive it.

Mine did the hard Idle on remote start when it was brand new as well and the loaner I had with the 3.5EB did the same thing.

8 days isn't bad with a holiday. Give them time to fix it.

The hard idle went away after I restarted the truck however after that instance my remote start would start the truck then die after a couple seconds.

If you're waiting for @Ford Motor Company to do anything, don't hold your breath.

They only get involved with EASY issues, and purposely overlook more involved issues, like this, even when they are tagged, like this.
