Service Department Recommendations

Hey everyone! I’m moving to the Fort Worth, TX area soon and looking for the best and friendliest Ford service department around. I don’t mind driving a bit if it means great service and honest people.

Where do you take your Ford for maintenance or repairs, and who do you trust? I’d really appreciate any recommendations or experiences!

Welcome! I bought my truck from Westway Ford in Irving and the experience was pretty horrible. Also had my transmission rebuilt by them and they had the truck for almost a month and hardly communicated with me. Apparently Grapevine and Autonation Ford isn’t too bad. Kinda hard to trust any dealers these days. It’s really all luck to get a good one.

Piggybacking on this to ask the same question in the Phoenix AZ area, closer to Peoria the better. Sanderson Ford was about as bad as an experience as I've had so I'm trying my luck at Peoria Ford, but might try Bell Ford next. I'll be looking for one that puts new transmissions in based on service history and does a good job.

If Fernando Pacheco is still at Chapman Ford he is awesome! Was my advisor for 15 years until I moved away. That is how I know it is possible to have good ones!!

I like Grand Prairie Ford for service. I had my 22 F150 taken care of there and now my 25 F250.

Ask for Santos Flores in service.

I'm not sure what area of FW you're in so that may be a bit of a drive. FWIW. YMMV.

Please let me know how your experience turns out. I am not married to any dealership. It's the closest to where I work and I have been happy with Santos. I get "free" oil changes due to some maintenance package they added to the truck (I didn't pay for it - they took it off the cost but I kept the service). That and one recall is the only reason I've been there with the 25 F250.
