Not sure if you noticed, but I did say this is the beta app so it should be coming to the production one soon

It appears that last night might have been the last night a Powerboost was keeping milk cold and coffee hot on this street.

Power is back on at the barn(do minium), so any family members left without power can stay in the bunkhouse/apartment.
My truck will get parked tonight. Turned off. I think "Trip 1", the current tank of fuel, is ~300 miles of running back and forth from all the houses and errands, and 100+ hours of runtime.

If you subtract the fuel it takes to travel 300 miles, that tells you that ProPower ran 100 hours on the fuel left over, and I think I still have a bit more than 1/8 tank.

Low load ProPower, of course. Kitchen appliances, lights, fans, internet, TV....

That’s weird, mine has a mileage there and no percentage. I’d prefer to see both, Ford if you read this.
Yes, should be a setting to pick DTE, % remaining or gallons remaining. In my OBDLink dashboard I use fuel remaining (gal) and fuel rate gal/hr. Good to watch during extended power outage or camping. Figure if I can do it, I'm guessing Ford can to.

One of the reasons I purchased my 22 F-150 (and paid a ridiculous price) was the app and its many great features. The theft protection feature letting you know when a door was opened was one l really liked. Now two years later the app has been stripped of all its security features and is now basically a remote start fob. So what’s next on fords list, disable the cruise control and radio??
I am thoroughly disgusted with Ford. I paid for those features just like the radio and cruise control.
I don’t know what has happened to ford but this is one more reason I will not buy another ford product.

I'm not picking on anyone specifically, because I too consider the app a potential enhancement to the overall ownership experience.

But it is interesting to witness how much a smartphone app can influence us today. Literally Declaring disdain for the vehicle itself as well as swearing off the manufacturer.

Wasn't until very recently in history that the smartphone, or the app, even exhisted.

Just goes to prove how different the world is now. A high quality smartphone app could absolutely lure a customer, even if the actual vehicle itself was inferior?

As if 2kW PPoB was already not an overpriced and pain in the first place, stripping it away from the App is cherry on the top. Why would Ford do that? I love my truck but this 2.0kW version is absolute trash at $1300 CAD. This was the only version available with 2.7L Ecoboost and I wanted it to power my camping needs.

Now yesterday I noticed it was going into “yellow” zone at 1200 watts. Usually it would enter “yellow “ zone at 1620 watts? What could be the reason?

Hopefully, Ford restores this functionality in next update ?

In my 23 XLT I have the plugs in the back on the bed of the truck but I have no place to see if it is working on my App or in my truck. It does not show up on anything.

Make sure to give the Fordpass app a 1 Star rating on the app stores and let them know why

Sorry to say but the 2kw inverter is known to suck badly at doing the job. Often failing to come close to the listed rating. If you have gotten some use from it you are doing better than most.
