Slightly more power than you can get out of a power strip before its little circuit breaker pops.
Sad thing is if I did a custom order I would have ordered that unaware of the issues. Truck I am very happy with has the 400w and it's good enough for me. Probably better than the 2.4k from what I've read here.

The 2.4 comes in the PB -- not to be confused for 2.0 system in non PB trucks. There is no comparison between the 2.4 and 2.0 systems. The 2.4 should output 2.5kW without flinching. If the 2.0 can sustain 110v at 1.5kW it's doing good. If you need a clean sine wave, forget about it.

I have been running for 60 hours. Went to top tank off at 53 hours and filled with 13.4 gallons. That’s about .253 gallons an hour. Would be lower but the truck stops cycling the engine and it continues running even though battery is charged. Load is about 1500 watts total. Have to turn the truck off to get it to cycle again. Now I just check it every hour or so. Last night checked every 3 hours.

Still without power at all 5 houses with my kids and grandkids.
Been a long 4 days with the heat too.

My Trip1 meter is only about 127 miles, but just passed the 60 hours mark.
Miles to empty was 297 at about a 1/2 tank. But I topped it back off today because it's getting difficult to find gas.

The Powerboost on the right has been running non-stop since Monday. It has 2 custom made 20A SO chords running into the building behind it, up the stairs, into the data room where it's powering the most mission critical stack of switches and servers.
Both Powerboosts are serving with such amazing utility, and with clean, efficient power. There are 32 locations nationwide that are running their operations with software accessing the databases being powered by an F150. While another F150 is keeping the milk cold, the coffee hot, and the cartoons playing. Not to mention a mobile office in the cab.

And people wonder why I'm a Powerboost Fanboy. ???

Similar to what I have measured under various loads - about 0.2 gallons/kWh

Filled up before I got to my sons house to power up a bunch of fans, kitchen, internet.....

"This Trip" shows the tea-sipping generator that no gasoline generator can sip like.

I’ve had this happen to me too. Even monitored the PED’s to see what was up. All read batteries charged. Not sure what the bug is, but you’re right cycling off and on resets back to normal operation.

if Duracell can make commercials with their response to power outages then ford should at least send some intern with an iPhone to capitalize on their modern marvel.

Two points:

Ford should capitalize on this opportunity and flood TX with whatever means they can to get feedback from the operation of the PB in these situations. It would cost peanuts for valuable "real life" information that may help in the future. It may not but my experience in QA often showed me that digging real world information can often provide a golden nugget.

Any of the PB owners that are having the PB stop cycling the ICE on and off, should document as much data as you can about the situation, and let Ford know. It probably is some software glitch. Now this could be a total exercise in futility, but my hope would be that some engineer at Ford would be drooling to get feedback like this.

I hope you get your power back soon. I know all too well how old this wait can get in heat.

Ford does capitalize on the PPOB usage, they've done it before, they'll do it again.
BUT
They need to push the PBs and not the 2.0 system which seriously needs a re-do because that inverter is trash.

I live rural in between two small towns. It's encouraging to see the concentration of trucks, equipment, and linemen everywhere.

And it's 7 family homes, not 5, spread out across the two towns and none have been fortunate enough to get power yet. If that Bayou flushes today, my RV might be the first one after I cut up a monster tree blocking access.

The transfer switch that fried on the main generator got repaired last night. So the whole data center with air-conditioning is back online!

I'm more comfortable at the office than anywhere other than inside my truck. ?
