No remote functions. That would require Ford to return Bluetooth communication with the vehicle.
I keep thinking they will bring Bluetooth back since they put it in for the Mach-E/Lightning. Let's you do things like remotely opening/closing hatches and windows.
But for now, the F150 FordPass functions are all cloud based. :(
I was hoping for more but I guess it is something???

Thanks

Snakebitten,

Can you remotely turn on the pro power like the original or just monitor it through the app?
i tried in the 250
i remote started and tried to engage the warp drive
ended up going out starting it up and then turning on the generator mode
i am not sure about the PB s

It's very very basic.

I'll preface my criticism with I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth but....... Well let's just say that it is FORD who set the bar for my expectations. Not me. ?

The re-introduction of ProPower Onboard in FordPass 5.0.22 is cloud only, thus any value displayed is a snapshot of a moment in history. So the value of "228 of 7200 W" is only real time for an instant, and then is nothing more than a static display until the next time you force a refresh.

Ford F-150 Pro Power Onboard is back in FordPass 5.22.0! Screenshot_20250619_194851_Gallery

Also note that it doesn't differentiate the watts drawn between the two ProPower banks of the 7.2KW version.

The previous V4 FordPass had a separate gauge for each bank.

But it's a start!

For now I will just continue to use OBDLink to monitor the appropriate PIDs.

It's so strange that happens.
This time I did not rebuild the signature. I figured to let it ride and see what happens, on a hunch.

Sure enough, the signature remedied itself.

Ford is the only company that updates an app and takes away functionality. That's how software development works in the bizarro world.

Maybe all their developers are from Google.
it fits when you consider they delete features from the actual truck and not add features.

lariats lost, power steer column, led fogs , bed camera, payload … and I am sure there more

My Platinum lost heated steering wheel, massage seats, on board smart scales and start stop. The only thing I was glad to lose was the start stop.

I can't prove it but it seems like the delete credit was way less than what you would pay for the actual option. Delete credit for massaging seats was only $100 I think. ?

I do need fuel
But it's neat.
As it should be.

the electric motor would never notice that the fuel was on the rocks, or watered, but the ICE will really object to anything but neat!

I'm a hopeless mobile KW junkie.
I feel your obsession.

We're in the early stages of house hunting, and I'm finding myself checking to make sure that three car garages are at least 30 feet wide and 20 deep.

It seems more tactical than finding, or building a six car garage in Las Vegas.

I have a cadillac problem. OK, a car problem in general; just sternest with old Cadillacs.

So 30 feet wide lets me put in 3 lifts and get six cars in. The trucks would still live in the driveway, but how's a guy supposed to get by with less than six slots? You need the 70s convertible, the 50s convertible, the pony car, the roadster, and the 20s car, leaving only one slot left for whatever comes up!

Posting here after a long long time. That’s how important PPoB info in the App is for me!!! Still on 5.21.0. Anyone in Canada with 2kW PPoB with FordPass on iOS confirm if they are able to update to 5.22.0? Thanks

I would assume it was because they were studying how to monetize each function separately.
Like Ford Base is $5/month and gets you remote start

Ford Gold at $10/mo gets you Base plus ability to see you subscription level.

Ford All Access is $20/mo and gets you remote lighting, Pro power, et al.

Add the trailer option for $5/mo to access trailer lighting.

I am sure I have an older version of the app, but how can you tell? Where is the app version posted on the app? I might be being lame, but I cannot find it.

I have found 3 car garages today are really the 2 car garages of yesteryear.

Hit the little man icon top right, then scroll to the bottom.

Mine says "FordPass v5.21.0 - ... "

As for PPOB being fully functional from the app. Even if it once did, I'd bet the layers got wind of that and killed it.

I would not expect to see it return. Monitoring is better than nothing and at the moment, it is free. As I understand it, other manufacturers change for their apps.
