Just built a 303A XLT with PB and a few options and it came in @ 74k for a XLT ???
I'm not brand loyal in anyway even though this is my 3rd F150 but end of this year i have some tough decisions as Ford is making this very difficult.

After being a long standing Ford buyer, I think because of their insane prices, I will probably go with a GMC Sierra 1500 with the 3.0 diesel. I hear they are getting 23mpg in town and 28-30 highway and can easily haul my small trailer. I am also considering the Tundra. A lot of people don't like the looks of the Tundra, but I like it. Time will tell. I'm not ready to buy at least until interest rates come way down from where they are now. If Ford keeps up their ridiculous pricing, there may be enough of us moving away from Ford to jeopardize their long-standing best selling truck tag line.

Price was a big reason I jumped on my 23 XLT PB with the 302A, 7.2, tow package and a few other odds and ends for 54k.

Anyone know if that $495 annual blue cruise subscription price will pass on to us peons with 24’s?
It looks to me like that $495 isn't for a year, but to get a year instead of a 90 day trial--so about the same as monthly

Monthly is $75 right now or $800 for the year. That $495 gets a year so a $300 discount.
So even is that is just 9 month that’s still less expensive than the normal pricing. 9 months at current pricing taking the annual fee into consideration would be $600.

Built a 2025 500A SuperCrew+5.5ft box as close as I could make it to my 2022 500A SuperCab+6.5ft box (no more Lariat SuperCab since 2023 ).

$10,055 higher than my MSRP on order date (my Granger 3% under invoice price [$51,919] was locked on that date). Granted my delivery date Monroney sticker MSRP was 'only' $6,420 lower due to significant price increases during 2022 after I placed my order.

The 2025 is a lot less truck for my purposes, though it could tow my 5th-wheel rig even with the shorter box.

No worries, I'm happy and 'set' for a long time (knock on wood) with the truck of my dreams, it was delivered exactly as ordered (NO removals / deletions). All the pure luck of timing.

I'm amazed at how many folks on this forum talk about wanting / considering / actually replacing a Gen 14 truck they've got in hand. Personally, I can't imagine flipping a truck that young, IMO that goes a long way toward supporting Ford's pricing scheme.
Is this just a Ford online build configurator limitation? I've noticed that if I first select the 500A and Tow/Haul package, and then the 3.73 Max Tow axle, I would have better luck with the build configurator not forcing me into a 5.5 foot bed.

Also to confirm, remote start is standard equipment in the Lariat trim to include the 500A package.

I don't know / didn't even try for a 6.5ft bed on the 2024 SuperCrew configuration (145"WB is my self-imposed limit); nor did I select the Max Tow axle on the 2024 for my comparison.

You may well be correct but again I don't know - remote start is not a feature I ever use, so I didn't even consider / research that for my comparison purposes.

Just out of curiosity, I went to the build and price website and spec'd out a 2025 F 150 XLT 302a Powerboost SCREW. I added a few options I would like (but not a deal breaker if I didn't get them).
It added up to 72,800.00!!! For a freaking XLT! My 2022 XLT was less than 60 g's MSRP. And maybe someone can answer this for me, but it appears that you no longer get the heated 10 way power driver's seat and heated 8 way power passenger seat in 302a, it looks like you need to go to 303a to get those now. My 2022 302a has those heated seats.

While I was at it, I spec'd out a 2024 F 250 Lariat SCREW with the Godzilla engine (the 25's aren't on build and price yet) with similar options as the F 150, like the rapid red metallic, the BAP, wheel well liners, splash guards, etc. The majority of the things that I optioned out on the F 150 XLT are standard equipment on the Super Duty Lariat. Guess what? The Super Duty was actually LESS than the F 150! For 71 g's and change, you can get a LARIAT F 250 for LESS money than a F 150 XLT!!!!

The pricing on these F 150's is out of control. If I were ordering a truck today, I would definitely get the Super Duty I spec'd out. I would be getting WAY, WAY more truck, for LESS money!
I couldn't agree more!!!! Been saying for the price the Super Duties are more appealing. Not sure what Ford is thinking. Another long time F-150 driver at work pulled up with a GMC 1500 this week. He said he can no longer justify the price of a F-150. Plus everything he has seen me go through.
