Kinda crazy that you can get an entire Coyote truck with a factory supercharger, for not much more than the R crate motor.

It'd still need a custom PCM to operate right. You'd also need to fortify the trans as it's already at its limits as it is.

The transmission is definitely the weak link when adding hp/torque to the stock Raptor R. That having been said, I think there is a beefed up 10 speed offered for the F250s...

Not sure what the 10r100 actually beefs up. The raptor R has some beefed up components but they still call it a 10r80.

if I was spending 30k + x amount for everything else to actually do this pipe dream (literally) build, I’d get a built trans as well.

Easier to just start with the Coyote for the direct injection. The aftermarket is just a lot better for the 5.0. Ford also sells the Aluminator 5.0 for $15,000 which comes with Manley H-beam rods, forged Mahle pistons. This one will hold near 1,500 HP and it’s half the cost of the 5.2. Obviously you need to add the blower.
