But the pressure dropped from 904 to 897...hmm which is just more thsn one atmosphere in the negative...it's sucking mucho grande..

Holy CRAP CAT5 and I'm on the White line! One of local weather guys said Thursday, just going to get a lot of rain. He should be FIRED! Looks like I'm going to be using my PB for this one...

My son and daughter live in Port St Lucie, FL with their families. They are in their early 30's and staying (as they have for every hurricane for the past 10 years.)

Lots of prayers to everyone in FL and praying Milton crosses FL and goes into the Atlantic and not up the coast near NC.

As shown on the track it'll head out to the Atlantic. A cold front is moving thru VA/NC as we speak (I'm in Outer Banks NC right now) that'll keep it South of us. We make get a small bit of rain/wind that's about it... thankfully.

2 weeks ago we watched via the personal weather stations network..storm surge surpass 7 feet, then 10...thrn it went offline
They ate expecting more than that...barrier islands will dissappear
15 feet of surge possible
Wholly catfish
The weather channel has I 75 north

It looks horrible heading north

if the storm surge is 12' like theyre calling for, what do you do with the generators/trucks?

Go find higher ground. It's not magic water, it's rising sea level. Concrete parking garages make great bunkers. The winds, especially the tornados are the biggest concern as the water is as predictable as it comes.

Caught some shear and it looks like an eyewall replacement may be under way based on tail doppler. This will be nasty for those that get hit no matter what. The energy is there, if it weakens, it widens -- think spinning ballerina arms. Open arms, larger area with lower speeds, larger impact area.

Yup...it's dropping pressure and getting much wider overall

Moving at 8 mph ene.
What is more concerning to me is the NHC. Stated it will be a 2 going across Florida, posdibly a 3
Still expecting down to 125 mph by landfall...
Surge is going to be horrible
its showing now a foot or so above tide now
