52,000 Miles on my 2021 Truck

2.7 Liter Engine

Transmission Fluid changed?
Yes @ 50k miles when pan was found leaking second time. Also replaced the filter.

Issues Encountered:
Transmission output shaft seal replaced 3x in last 2 years and ~15k miles (leaking)
Transfer case input shaft seal replaced 3x in last 2 years and ~15K miles (leaking)
Transmission pan gasket replaced 2x and transmission pan replaced once (leaking)
Transmission still leaking between transmission and transfer case. Going back to different dealership first week of October.
I have an ~6" stain on my garage floor at this point. Sometimes I can smell it burning off the exhaust system.

Wow, My take is that when Ford was assembling your truck someone put nicks on these shafts. Ask your dealer the next time one goes and replaces one of these to take a piece of crocus cloth and smooth the area where the seal rides.

You have something else going on entirely. They need to check the machined surface where the seal sits. It's very uncommon to have leaks on the 10R.

The odd part was that it was fine for the first ~45K miles. No leaks at all. It just started last year. The only thing I can think of is that I used 4L for some driving in a field shortly before this all started. I don't drive the truck much in 4L, but it felt very clunky when shifting from drive to reverse.

Entirely possible. I'm questioning if it's the transfer case that has a bearing starting to fail in it causing the other leaks? I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks.

Sometimes minor damage can take awhile to develop. So if they change out the shaft change out the seal even if it looks good.

Update on my truck for those interested.
Took it to a different Ford dealership last week. They also diagnosed a bad transfer case input shaft seal. They replaced the seal. I explained to them that this will be the fifth transfer case input shaft seal installed in this transfer case and that maybe something else maybe wrong. They said they had reviewed all the previous service records and still have to go through the process to diagnose the problem. This is the first step. Sigh...
If it leaks again, I'm going to request that Ford helps investigate next steps. I've had 5 input shaft seals in this transfer case in the last two years and 15K miles. My original powertrain warranty is up and I do have an extended warranty, but I'll be GD'ed if I'm going to pay a dime for this repair after the 60K warranty is up.

Bad shudder on highway and weird cyclic vibration. Truck still shudders but maybe 10% of what it did before. Kind of lost confidence in my truck though. 2021 lariat with 59,990

Assuming the new trans fixed the vibration?

No transmission fluid change yet

Rarely experience harsh downshift from 6th to 3rd. No other shift concerns

Just under 20K.

If babying the throttle, it skip 2nd when starting from a stop. No matter what drive mode.

If driving just slightly spirited, it hits second.

If driving in town around 25-40 mph, it acts like it is hunting for the right gear. It seems to shift at roughly 5 mph intervals.

I'll probably do transmission service at 50K.
